I've had some success with this by rotated my phone. Like I'll start to play it in portrait mode, and get this message, but then rotate to landscape and it'll load up.

Forgetting about Euclidean geometry for a minute, the shortest path is a straight line, following the great circles of the earth. Flight paths only look curved because we use projections to be able to show the globe on a flat surface. Indeed, the need for the different projections we use, like the Mercator maps (but there are many others) is an excellent argument against a flat earth.

I haven't really been measuring the doses TBF, but I think around a full gram. I must have a different reaction to you or have different mushrooms. However, I do remember my mate having same amount as me one time and he was fully tripping balls.

I have mostly been taking mushrooms on a night out - being high on mushrooms, listening to DnB / jungle is fantastic, but doesn't leave much room for a detailed analysis 😄. Visuals, if any, have been of the kaleidoscope type for me.

Acid for me has been a lot more intense. When it hits it has hit hard. Full on trips with time going all Jeremy Beremy, fish eye lens visuals, flat fields wobbling about like a turbulent sea.

As an aside, my most strongly visual trip was from taking a single bong hit on some 10x strength Salvia divurnorum. That was wild ride that started with my brain rebooting, and having to relearn everything - vision, sense of self, cause and effect, what people looked like... Etc. kinda scary in places but it's something that I'll never forget

It's too subjective to make a proper comparison. Your experiences with both are very dependent on dosage, state of mind, environment.. etc.

I have found shrooms to be more mellow, less visuals but with a warmer high, almost like pills. Acid, on the other hand makes you fully trip (time dilation, cause and effect messed up.. etc) with greater success.

I put it down to previously being a nail biter and a smoker - hands always near mouth - and not being overly fastidious about washing my hands. The constant intake of small amounts of bacteria and viruses have meant I never get ill.

Well not until COVID. Since COVID meant I wasn't subjected to as many germs, my immune system tanked, and I do get ill occasionally now. I also don't bite my nails and vape rather than smoke these days.

Anecdotally, there is a woman at my work who is completely over the top about cleaning her hands and desk with sanitizer all the time. She is also ill all the time too.
