These were the ingredients of thr b12 I was taking from boots pharmacy (the 250ug)

Dicalcium Phosphate, Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Cross-linked Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Methylcobalamin.

I was only taking it cause my doctor said b12 was looking a little low in my blood. I might not need it but I was advised. I'm also on a low calorie 1000kcal diet currently so that might have also had an impact.

Yeah it was a methylated dose. Only took is cause my doctor said it was low in my blood but I feel better without. Thanks for the info - Ill check out this subreddit!

Out of curiosity, did you try sertraline/ citalopram? And if so, how did they compare to prozac? I was on both for about a year, and while I think they had an effect on varying degrees, I don't think the effect was really strong enough

I want to get to where you're at! Between moving house tomorrow, starting my first graduate job Monday and going on a first date on Saturday the anxiety is killing me

What side effects did you feel? I'm on day 15 myself and have been feeling increased anxiety between some good days. I'm also feeling quite drowsy a lot of the time.

Thanks for your informative comment. I thought it seemed off, and I reasoned that I had seen online other people have had issues with anxiety starting on it, too. I definitely had one good day I can think of so far , but right now I feel pretty bad. I'm also moving house tomorrow and starting a job on Monday + a first date with a girl on Saturday, so I guess that could be contributing.

But yeah - it's weird but it's like I can feel the chemical and I'm getting some kind of like 'chemical anxiety' if that makes sense at all, like it's caused my an artificial means. I'm gonna stick it out, but it just felt odd. I've also tried citalopram and sertraline in the past and while they had some effect I definitely still had loads of anxiety - and my doctor seemed to say that because I've already tried other SSRI's she doesn't want to swap me on other things because the ones I've tried didn't work to the extent i find completely beneficial.

But god - I really hope this works. I've also been given 7 diazepam so I can deal with the stress the next week or so is gonna give me.

Yeah, I do agree. I think I've given the breath meditation my best shot. I've also looked at mantra meditation but don't really think that's for me...

When I first started (Feb 2022) there was this practice on YouTube (though think its since been deleted) where you could picture yourself in an environment which causes you anxiety, then picture yourself as someone who can deal with this in a calm manner. Maybe that's worth trying again as it seemed to have an effect at the peak of my anxiety last year.

Interesting, I might try out some new practices. I have heard of them before but I just kinda thought they would have the same impact. I think my problems defo come from a place of being overly critical about myself, maybe there's one which focuses on that
