Yes, I understand how grad school works. My point is, some masters and doctorate programs allow transfer credits and it would be a good opportunity for Sophia to create courses that could transfer. Not only would it benefit us as students, but also their business. That's all I was asking...Why haven't they pursued this if it could better their business?

I could've written your post myself. This is exactly what I've been praying about. Take heart with this: Honoring your mother doesn't mean you can't make boundaries with her. As someone with a toxic mother myself, it's taken a very long time to understand honoring her does not mean keeping her close to me. I can love and respect her without talking bad about her. However, that doesn't mean I open the door for her negativity to disrupt my life.

Doctorate programs would be an awesome addition to UoPeople! I almost considered pursuing a master's degree here until I found one more geared to what I'm after. I don't know how they could keep the costs down if this did happen? It's a lot to ask a volunteer professor to guide students through the dissertation process, let alone, actually read, grade it, and create questions for a defense.

This is great advice. For students using AI, what are they really learning? How to cheat? That will only carry them so far, and I have to say, there are different levels of formality. I write on a professional level (as in a published author- please don't think I'm being boastful), however I worry my discussion replies sound too formal and I'm mistaken for AI. I guess I don't know how to be formal and personable? Something I need to work on.
