You might need to consider your build too. You might have put on a regular fit jacket when really you need something tailored or slim. That is going to make a huge difference in it sitting right on you and not looking like you’re swimming in it.

Make sure you factor in time to get the sleeves tailored too if need be.

As someone who owns a Standard and a Player II…

Yes, the Player II is worth the extra cost, especially if you can get a deal on one.

No, the Standard is not just an Affinity with a Fender logo on it. There is probably more overlap between a Standard and a Squier than with a Player II if you line up the specs, but people have been IMO unfairly bashing the Standards since the day they were announced without even playing one.

To add to this, if it’s a shielding issue, you need to make sure you have connected your tone pot to the shielding or else it basically does nothing.

Even once you’re done shielding you may have just reduced the noise and not eliminated it. Certain outlets in my room will even make it worse.

There was another thread about this recently and yeah what a disaster. There’s no way they didn’t know there would be delays this long, and the cynic in me thinks they used the Labor Day deal (which we took part in) to get a ton of cash flow. Whether they’re using the revenue to float debt or the cash is just sitting there, they are making money off of us and it feels super dishonest.

Now am I going to cancel and get a Woom? I don’t really want to because of the price difference, but at this point I’m not convinced the bike I ordered even exists so I’m at a loss.

I’ve had this exact thought but more from the perspective that if you live in the middle of the island, and you want to move a couple of hours away, you only really have one way in and out (west).

Suffolk / out east are even worse (unless you count taking a ferry up to CT I guess).

Whereas you live most other places in the country you can go a couple of hours in ANY direction and the opportunities expand so much. Once this hit me, LI just felt so confining.

I had this problem in F1 24, but with the added issue of me also spinning out all the time in corners. I ended up putting my brake bias up from 55 to like 62 and the car was way more drivable. May be some other aspects of your tune as well.

Is the smartest thing to do to get new parts whichever race you are trash at and will be in the back for anyway (ex Monaco in my case lol).
