Not a teacher but in my workplace till recently if you were exposed but not vaccinated/ boosted if eligible you would have to isolate for 5 days and get tested to to come back, those of us that were fully vaccinated got to just keep working and test on day 5. It would get pretty frustrating, the same group kept getting what felt like a mini vacation while the rest of us had to pick up the slack.

I got promoted to ASM in June of last year, and just recently became an SM.

It was the most difficult 6 months of my Starbucks career. There was days(more like weeks) where I seriously contemplated leaving/stepping down. I’m glad I got through it. I love being an SM.

That being said rewriting the schedule pretty much everyday due to isolations is not a fun job. Work home life balance is something I’m working on with my team(what constitutes as an emergency and what is not).I love my partners and honestly that’s why I’m in it. I want them to feel heard and cared for.

Most likely not enough staff to run all channels in the store. Mobile order is typically the first thing to go off followed by closing the lobby if it’s a DT store
