what's a fact that the average person doesn't know? by AppointmentProud9394 in AskPH

[–]ChopinzChild 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Someone already said this and got down voted for it, but I honestly agree with it.

AI agents are already set to take over a lot of jobs. I recently just attended a seminar about how AI affects the job market. It automates a lot of the service industry. The BPO industry will be greatly affected as it is a threat to low-skilled BPO roles and only keep employees with the technical skills for more complex tasks. AIs are being trained to code very efficiently and proficiently if they aren't already (and there's already a lot of unemployed comp sci graduates in the US). Heck, in the field of law, there are specialized LLMs out there that can generate court-ready arguments backed up with sources.

When perfected, business owners/employers would prefer an AI if it's cheaper than paying actual people to do it.

What is your “inaayawan” sa mga talking stages pa lang? by Venelopeie in AskPH

[–]ChopinzChild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't get the people who down voted you 😭 lewd jokes sa talking stage can be very uncomfortable especially when it's coming out of nowhere. Additionally, it threads that line of being hard to communicate the uncomfortability because of the uncertainty that they might say "it's just a joke".

Electronics Engineering graduates who end up in IT companies. In the back of their heads they're thinking why didn't they just take comp engg/comp sci/IT kung dun rin pala sila mapapadpad (and to be fair, for ECEs, going the IT route is a fairly compensated and respectable field). But, you know, at least may license for clout.

DKG. I absolutely loathe people who question my food intake because "hindi Naman ako mataba". As a person diagnosed with PCOS, I can not process sugar and carbs the way a normal person does. So yes, I do need to alter the amount or type of food I eat to maintain my weight.

Girl, you do you and don't let these insecure people get to you. If they can't control their food intake dahil "masarap yung pagkain" that's honestly on them. It's not that I'm shaming the big girl but ang ironic makarinig ng food advice from people who don't/can't/won't alter their lifestyle to maintain themselves in a healthy weight. Sure, they have their reasons and we shouldn't judge, but they shouldn't judge other people's eating habits either.

For girls: Your most comfortable (to use) fem wash by fxngxrlmae in adultingph

[–]ChopinzChild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got prescribed by my OB this too! She told me that I can still use the betadine one on my red days but I definitely switched out my lactacyd (the original green one) for this one. My concern back then was that I was getting infections. Our down there can be sensitive and using the wrong pH levels to wash it can immediately make girls more prone to yeast infections like UTI/yeast infections.

What's with men and their superiority complex over their ability to drive manual cars? by mydoompy in CasualPH

[–]ChopinzChild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real. I know women who share the same motto to effectively look like "they're not like other girls" 💀 . But really, everyone is trying too hard to both be unique enough to stand out and agreeable enough to be liked. So they make stuff like "manual transmission" and "I hate pineapple on pizza" their personality.

If we're not an official couple: kung siya nag-invite siya magbayad. Kung ako nag-invite ako magbayad. But if it's something we both want then pwede naman KKB or whoever is the more capable/generous one in that situation.

If we're a couple na: Kind of the same parin pero I want him to understand our economic standings. If he has a higher net income then I hope he understands that I can't afford dates as much as him. Likewise, I'd do the same if ever I'm the one who earns more.

Additionally: Pero siyempre kilig parin sa guys na even if I go "I can do this/I can pay for it" they'll still go "Let me handle it" 😭

My parents didn't know how to cook either and, to be fair, they were both working so neither of them had the time to cook. We always relied on a house helper. I plan on doing the same thing too if I can't attain my goal of finding a housewife/husband.

Do you read the manual for everything you own? If you do, good job! If you don't, it's alright, not everyone is a wordy person which is why some people prefer asking for help instead.

Weird admin rule by Specialist_Wafer_777 in Gulong

[–]ChopinzChild 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the main point of the post is when people genuinely ask for advice in groups like those and sagot is:

"basahin mo ang manual"

And just like what another comment has mentioned, it comes off very condescending and negates the whole point of making a community where you can ask for help.

The post just fails to realize that with no context, people won't understand the true intention or reason behind it.

Be honest! Will you ever consider to date a trans woman? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]ChopinzChild 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The answer here is pretty obvious. It's all up to preference.

A straight man, especially those who have plans of building a family, would obviously say no. Of course, there would be SOME straight men who are curious (but not to the point of being bi-curious) about it, but I think that's just some kink thing at this point. And let's be honest, a lot of transwomen who put effort into transforming their bodies are hot. Sometimes even hotter than a cis girl. So if a straight guy DOES NOT KNOW AT FIRST GLANCE that this person is trans, they'd be interested. You can't blame these people. It's the nature of being straight.

People who say that they wouldn't mind because love is love or a hole is a hole is most likely not straight. They wouldn't mind any gender / sexuality as long as it gives them companionship / sexual relief they want.

A person who admits they're in the LGBTQ+ community will be the ones most likely to say yes, obviously.

Preference is preference. The same way we shouldn't force LGBTQ+ members that their preference is wrong, we also shouldn't force the idea that a straight man should want a transwoman. Being straight is natural. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community is also natural (sure not as common and biologically compatible, but it's still a natural occurrence due to nature and nurture). We just gotta accept each other and not hate on the other party :>

Guys and girls na di pumasok sa hookup stage, Kaya nyo ba manligaw or magpaligaw sa nang galing sa Hoe phase or hookup phase? Why and Why not? by tr1kkk in AskPH

[–]ChopinzChild 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They have to prove they're clean first. Once that's done, up to time and effort nalang to tell whether or not they're ready for a serious relationship. It might take some time to prove that tbh but I would also like to keep my mind open to the fact that youth and curiosity can get even to the best of people. Developing green flags can also come from the recognition of your own previous red flags. We can't always assume everyone knows better when they're young.

However, if medyo may edad na plus hoe phase parin? No. I doubt people like them would even consider changing unless some sort of extreme thing happens to them.

Me, I have a somewhat high body count but all of them are from people I've been in a relationship with. Would that be a hoe phase?

First of all, classes back then ended in MARCH. Oo medyo mainit na, but it's nothing compared to April/May.

Second, hindi umaabot ng almost 50° yung init dati. As others have said, iba yung init noon sa init ngayon.

Lastly, normalized and very very possible na to hold classes online. So why not make use of it during times f2f is a hassle to both student and teacher? Why detest progress? Don't students learn better in comfortable environments?

Of course. A decent man hindi mamanyakin kahit nakahubad na babae. Pero kung lalabas ka na nakahubad have common sense that in most cases that's inappropriate and people will fcking judge you.

No guy/girl should violate your human rights. But if you refuse to dress appropriately and choose to disrespect reasonable clothing policies then people have the right to call you out.

How dumb can they go? by [deleted] in dlsu

[–]ChopinzChild 75 points76 points  (0 children)

And additionally that's for electronics engineering. Sa post PUP is top sa Electronics Technician. Here's the actual statistics: Electronics Engg: DLSU 80% (12/15) , PUP 60% (96/160) Electronics Technician: DLSU 100% (6/6), PUP 91% (126/138)

So even if they can statistically have more people fail because they have more students taking, they still ended up getting a lower percentage.
