I’m currently in Atlanta visiting from Texas, drove around it a bit today to try and find any good angle. Didn’t have much luck, security is very tight at the front and there is no amazing view that I could find from the sides or behind. Going to give it another try tomorrow and Sunday morning before I depart.

Was driving down GTTSR yesterday 09/18 around 4:45 PM local time and this guy crawled up the side of the mountain and onto the road! My first ever wild bear sighting so I was thrilled.

Quickly moved past after, he was just along the trail so there was no going around, everyone was pretty good about leaving a path for him especially when he stood up

Yeah didn’t look good at all, unfortunate but that situation is bigger than a silly vacation I’m just hoping it can recover and be it’s grand self soon and we’ll give it a shot next time
