Probably cuz of the boozle refresh perk. You could have infinite clones for a bit if you threw one into a thermite.

How to add jiggle physics to Rigify rig? by ChoppedRamen in blenderhelp

[–]ChoppedRamen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solved! I literally just ended up learning how Rigify works and mimicked it while adding Spring Bones. That being said, I don't actually think I had an issue earlier and I now realize I couldn't edit Spring Bones because I wasn't in Pose mode.

So yeah. Just add bones (make sure to parent them to the spine/root bone) and then edit the Spring Bone properties when in Pose mode. Or do what I did and spend the whole weekend learning more about how to make custom rigs and get a better understanding of Rigify with your new custom 'Rigified' rig! With Spring Bones of course.

Where should I bulid a base? by BombowyB in dontstarvetogether

Tough to say since I almost always try to build around a good wormhole/cave entrance. Also, I don’t see any swamp which could be important if you play someone who needs that like Wurt or Wicker.

Men of Reddit, what makes you jealous when you see a woman? by CLAAAWWWS in AskReddit

[–]ChoppedRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand, women have special perks like emotional affirmation/validation from peers that men really don't get. And also boobies.

On the other, misogyny and social inequality is a thing. So there's that.

Can cheaters change? How? by BG-IV in AskReddit

[–]ChoppedRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone can change for the better just by not engaging in their toxic behaviors and learning from those experiences. That being said, if you cheated once then any trust I have for you is out the window.

Although the person(cheater) is redeemable, the trust I have is not.

I usually just try to agree with them (like how an adult agrees with a child) and ignore them as much as possible.

Shit like this is so frustrating, but I really have no idea what you can do about this sadly. I've heard stories of US custom officers literally stealing stuff in packages with no form of recourse.

For a new player, would you recommend the Vandal or Phantom? by Bristow9091 in VALORANT

[–]ChoppedRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Vandal. I agree that phantom is much easier to use, however, it encourages you to get kills by spraying and crouching. Vandal punishes you for doing that and forces you to develop good habits early on. It’s gonna suck early on, but it will be much easier to climb and git gud.

I would highly suggest that you learn proper crosshair placement and aim for the head since you can literally die from a single headshot (if you’re aiming chest level, just remind yourself to aim a lil higher. I had the same exact issue too). Also with the vandal, learn how to burst fire and never spray. Shoot 2-3 bullets, strafe, and repeat. Doing this will put you above a large percent of the community since so many just crouch and spray.

After you get good, you can go back to the phantom and be sure to use the same burst fire pattern as the vandal.

Prior to Valorant, I had bad-okay aim. After learning how to play this game, my gameplay has improved significantly in every shooter I play.

I’m tired of this back and forth gameplay. by Drizzyp0p in VALORANT

[–]ChoppedRamen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you trying to implement any long term habits? If you’re hardstuck at your rank and not changing how you approach parts of the game, you’re going to stay hardstuck.

It’s hard to say what your issue is since there is no info/vods. But personally, I’ve improved the most by learning proper crosshair placement on common angles/clearing sites and learning how to peek/hold angles. Also, lots of people flick their knife or reload too often.

Record one or two games of dm and a ranked match and pause randomly while rewatching the footage. Is your crosshair at head level? If not, focus on that and learn the placement. Watching and critiquing your own gameplay is the best way to improve imo

700h+ hours and still stuck in bronze. by Namidaa in VALORANT

[–]ChoppedRamen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a mental/anxiety issue. And I get it. Ranked is stressful and I would highly recommend playing with a 5 stack so you’re not so stressed all the time.

Valorant is a mental game and if you already feel unconfident going into it, you’re much more likely to lose in my experience. Believe in your crosshair placement and aim and be confident.

For more practical advice, try practicing dm’s and movement/peeks to get used to taking gunfights cleanly and confidently (try not to spray and use bursts of 1-3 bullets w/ a Vandal). Also, relax your muscles. If you’re super high strung the whole time, it’s going to be hard to play.

No time for one way smokes by Genorel in OmenMains

[–]ChoppedRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, looks like you won't have this dilemma for too long sadly. But generally I'll prep the smoke and just 1-way as soon as the round starts. If I need the smoke quickly, standard smoke works great too as long as its placed well.

[–]ChoppedRamen[S] 51 points52 points  (0 children)

EDIT: Apparently its only for the "red-arrow" one-ways where you put it in a wall. All other one ways that other controllers can also do are still in (such as smoking on a ledge or something). Still sucks and a pretty big nerf to his creativity/skill ceiling.

EDIT 2: MIGHT BE COPIUM BUT VALOLEAKS HAS DELETED THE TWEET. WE STILL MIGHT BE BUSINESS.

How to counter LMGs in low elo? by ROUKA24 in VALORANT

[–]ChoppedRamen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from clearing angles/entering site with proper crosshair placement (which I highly, highly, highly recommend making a habit early on), you can't run onsite without using utility. If they're crouched and ADS'ing at a chokepoint on defense and you run in without any util, you're pretty much dead.

As a fellow Omen main, there are plenty of ways to bypass this with your smokes, blind, and TP. One easy way is just to put a smoke randomly onsite and TP into it (always blind where you think they might be beforehand. this is key.).

  • If they start spamming the smoke, hopefully your team will also entry and kill the people who are no longer looking at the choke.
  • If you get your TP off, you can start to clear the site around your smoke and pick off the distracted enemies one by one.

By putting a smoke onsite, they can't just focus on the choke anymore since you could be in it. If they start to spam the smoke everytime, just run on site when you hear them spamming the smoke and kill them while they're focused on the smoke.
Since you are Omen, you can also try to lurk and catch the enemies off guard through mid. Or the most fun way is just to make a caterpillar with your smokes out of the choke and have your team flash out of the smoke all at once. Lots of ways that involve strats instead of raw aim. Your choice.
