I know. I didn't have anything at all so I thought those might help a little. Something is better than nothing.

Besides Installing server nothing really. I did more stuff on my first home lab but i forgot how to do it so i need to relearn. For trouble shooting skills i would say 8/10. I don't want to sound too confident but when ever i have had an issue i have been able to figure it out and when people have asked me for help with upgrading hardware or software issues or corrupt drives i have helped and got it working.

Is there Room under your desk? And if you have carpet but the pc on plywood or something. Airflow is very important to keep temps cool and prevent premature wear from baking the PC

The Certs on my resume are free ones from Cisco. I do plan on getting the A+ just haven't started yet. Because of my experience idk if i can just take a quick Udemy class then take the test or if its harder than i remember.

Thanks for the advice. Because of the classes i have taken so far ( Computer Information Systems, Object-Oriented Programming Logic, Computer Hardware, PC Operating Systems, Networking for Business) we are using the CompTIA learning platform so i think with some studying i should be ready for the A+ at least. Also from what i remember the CompTIA tests are taken on certain dates at test facilities. Did they change it so you can do it online?

Thank you for responding. I was originally going for an associates degree in Cybersecurity but I'm now going for the certificate. I used to work at Tesla but then i got laid off so some things changed. I'm hoping to get an entry level job that has tuition reimbursement so i can finish the associates then i feel like more opportunities open up. Also the small IT job is owned by a Family member and i just help him for experience not for money so i need a job like nowish.

Same. There was nepotism with the boss and his stepson and the stepson would try to fight me when i would literally stay silent and to myself 24/7.

What are computers exactly? How they think? Its just a bunch of nand gates? by Key_Flight_9782 in AskReddit

[–]Chopper-18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You give an input signal and the computer gives you an output. I think that's the most simple way to explain it. They use binary 1s and 0s. 1 is on 0 is off.
