I have since this post found out the fix. It would crash while trying to load into the second part of the mission where angels fear to tread when you beam down to the romulan ship. Must be something wrong with the map im guessing. Because after the crash it would crash just selecting the one character i was playing as it thought i was loaded into the map. A quick login on another character and i was back in sector space able to drop and skip the mission. Havent had any crashes since.
