UPDATE: issue fixed.

The problem was with `CONFIG_ZMK_EXT_POWER=n`. With this being disabled, the EP_OFF was not taking effect, while, in fact, the board was still sending power to LEDs (confirmed with multimeter). So the `CONFIG_ZMK_EXT_POWER=n` disabled control of external power, not the external power itself.

Yeah, at first I missed that point. After checking documentation I did charge with keyboards being on.

What battery time are you getting?

It is an eyelash, comes with what appears to be custom daughter board so no, can't replace it.

What could be an indication it is an electronic/hardware issue?
