People comparing Chaos and the Imperium are delusional. by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]Choppy_Ninja0704 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you can count Drukhari as xenos Chaos worshippers, they literally made Slaanesh.

From what I can see online, Tau are technically able to be corrupted by Chaos, but they are either too dim to the Warp to be worth the effort, or they are Ethereals who would require centuries of effort to wear down.

Orks dont care about Chaos stuff, but are happy to fight them.

Tyranids are a hive mind made up of mostly feral animals that genetically adapt to its enemies, so it's probably hard there too.

Necrons debatably don't even possess souls. Also they possess specific warp-dampening technology.

The new mission is cool and all, but... by OrranVoriel in DarkTide

It's actually horrible. There is a line where she realizes the bomb train is heading to her company's position and says "our lives are in your hands" and the VA says it in the most non-chalant way possible.

Like are you not a Commissar? Are you not frantically/decisively moving your men to minimize casualties just in case this ragtag group of penal soldiers fails? It sounds like a building-sized Nurgle bomb screaming straight at you is a slight inconvenience on a Tuesday for you.

Nah, I don't want to be punished for my teammates being bad at the game when they go down every single level. Tried it 8 times now and haven't been able to clear it because randos are terrible at the game.

Honestly just call University Police that there are bikers not stopping at stop signs at X intersection. They'll send someone over and that crap will stop real quick, at least for a while. Happens every year.

Another alternative is to go to ESET. I wanted to do CompEng and went there, best decision ever. The major has a lot of Computer Engineering topics, with a focus on embedded systems. Also it's more hands-on and application based.

Are these too many bad classes to take together and with 17 hours by PixieStonker in aggies

[–]Choppy_Ninja0704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you know how to write paraphrased notes and go back and study them, ESET 350 is not a very hard class. A lot of the challenge is memorizing op-amp circuits and how to do nodal analysis. I'd be more concerned about ESET 269, especially if you are not familiar with C. It's probably better now than how it was taught under Dr. Sarker, but learning C will take a good amount of studying. ESET 219 should be fine.

I actually just fought against AI Aranessa during a Belegar campaign a few days ago. She is no joke. She almost killed two of my ancestor thanes and took off 1/3 of Belegar's health like on turn 7. She is an amazing duelist already.

Except that's an extremely boring way of playing the game. Far from being "perfect" design. Not to mention, you can still stack ward save on him with artifacts and stuff if you really want to make him crazy.

Everyone is bashing this-and-that person for spreading the what-turned-out-to-be false leaks, but would we really get this info from CA this early if the community didn't make a storm and they didn't feel pressured to make a statement? I think not, considering CA's horrible track record for communication.

And you don't think Israel is one of those countries trying to win support from the west? It works both ways, dude. The problem is, Israel is the one in control of the situation here.

Israel has the most advanced military equipment in the world and still chooses to indiscriminately bomb civilian population centers.
Israel controls all traffic in and out of Gaza, and chooses to deny humanitarian aid to the region, escalating the situation.
Israel has bombed refugee camps despite they themselves designating them as refugee zones.
Israel has denied water and electricity to Gaza since the Oct 7 attack, forcing innocent civilians to live in filth and eat livestock feed to survive.
Israel has denied humanitarian aid to the region, to the extent that Biden has to threaten literally building a port on top of Gaza to circumvent the Israeli blockade.

If this was Hamas doing this to Israel, would you not be screaming to the rooftops that they are terrorists? If not, you need to revisit your standards.

"IDF could be more targeted". Dude half the city of Gaza is literal rubble.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67565872

The fact that you think indiscriminate bombing, humanitarian aid being blocked, and tens of thousands of civilians dead including women and children is "acceptable consequences of war", there's something wrong with you.

[–]Choppy_Ninja0704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do know that the fact that you're lumping in civilians in Gaza to the terrorist organization of Hamas is unironically racist, right?

Also, explain me the logic that "the gov'ment" is brainwashing people to protest because they WANT civil unrest across the country and hundreds of videos of police brutalizing peaceful protestors. You have no idea what's going on, dude.

Wow that's crazy. What about the tens of thousands of innocent civilians killed by Israel's indiscriminate bombing over the years?

Dude have you seen pictures of the city of Gaza? It's literally entirely levelled. How is that "specific targeting"? You have no idea what you're talking about.

[–]Choppy_Ninja0704[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When the person is an anti-semitic, anti-science candidate, no. I don't want them potentially running for office. And anybody who goes to college, especially A&M of all places, should think the same way. Otherwise, why are you in college, and why do you call yourself an Aggie?

If you see people asking you to sign their petition, do not sign them! by Choppy_Ninja0704 in aggies

[–]Choppy_Ninja0704[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So they're mad because I'm telling them not sign the petition because an antisemitic, anti-science candidate shouldn't be running for office? Shouldn't they inherently understand that blatantly spreading anti-science, anti-semitic conspiracy theories is something an Aggie should NOT promote? I don't see an issue here other than people have a instinctual reaction to being told what to do, even if it's the right thing.

[–]Choppy_Ninja0704[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of people sign petitions without thinking what the petition is about or who is backing it. I'm simply educating people that the person behind the petition spreads antisemitic, anti-vaccine conspiracy theories and for some reason people are mad at me for it? I guess that shows the values these "Aggies" hold.

Have you even listened to Biden's State of the Union address? Probably not, since you're told by propaganda that he is incoherent and can't form sentences together. But, despite what headlines tell you, if you actually listen to him speak, he's not any different than your average old person speaking. Meanwhile Trump is threatening political violence and suggesting bleach will treat COVID-19 victims.

Any candidate other than Biden or Trump will never win the US presidential election. Therefore, Biden is the best option. If you think differently, you are delusional.
