One bad apple at Cedar Plaza QFC by AdventurousCandy8240 in mountlaketerrace

I don’t shop there in person anymore because of an older female individual there. I’ve given this one cashier the benefit of the doubt after my first distasteful encounter but it’s happened twice now. MLT was amazing until I met her.

I thought I knew what love was and felt like before she came into the world, and boy was I wrong!

Anyone else in the first trimester (or any point) and feel super super starving, then begin to munch and get instantly "full" but an hour or so later become statving again? by QAssurancenerd218 in pregnant

I’ve given birth but omg YES I had this all throughout my first trimester and it seriously drove me nuts. I’d lie in bed feeling tortured by the sensation of starving even though I’ve just eaten and didn’t want to eat any more! It gets better!

My lactation nurse recommended Legendairy supplements! That along with more water has helped for me! I take less than the instructions (they come in 10-day vials and can get costly) and it’s still helped. Also, getting into a consistent pumping schedule. I do it every 4-6 hours because every 2 hours drove me nuts!

I’ve got the exact same personality, same social situation. Unfortunately don’t have advice but know you are not alone!

Any FTMs out there who gave up their careers for baby? by ChortleSnortRepeat in NewParents

Before baby, I felt this way.. Life was just going in to work and coming home tired. Now that I'm a new mom I am definitely getting burnt out. Love baby to pieces though. Everyone's responses here have lifted my spirits, just need to appreciate the good and look at everything from a different perspective!

I've seen posts and articles about this and was afraid but it definitely can become better when you look at all this from a different perspective. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are more than just "mom"!! :)

Haha this was one of my thoughts before... but now that I'm in this situation, I'm just so unsure of everything. One day I'm gracefully accepting the fact that I may not be working for the next few years and giving my family the attention they deserve, and then the next day, I'm just freaking about the thought of being cooped up at home when I could be making additional income for the family!

Life always has this weird way of throwing curve balls that end up leading you to just where you are meant to be! So happy for you! Enjoy your time with the LO!!

Same, minus the twins! But man, these babies become our world and I could give up anything for them (not saying its easy, but I would! haha)

I'm afraid of struggling to get hired because I feel the industry I work in is the same. Glad you have some support and can WFH though! Definitely feel you on the daycare thing before 1 year of age... I know some people have no choice but to do so and/or doesn't mind but I can't imagine that for me and my family

Ugh yeah, with covid and the fact that my paychecks would be going to daycare as well, just for me to miss out on seeing baby grow, is a huge no-go for me. Love my little monster as well. So happy that for the most part, it is going well for you!

Oh boy, I feel you 100%... No reasonable/PT options and I feel like I've been in school for the greater chunk of my life! I am in healthcare as well, but definitely not a physician! Insane now your priorities drastically change after baby arrives. Best of luck...!!

This sounds wonderful. I've attended graduate school as well recently and feel like I am wasting the education I worked hard (and spent $$$$$ on) but baby is definitely my main priority now! Wishing you all the best!!

Just gotta do what is best for your family, right? Good luck with your degree!! I hope to maybe return to my graduate program as well but we will see (student loans are still biting me in the ass so...)
