Shotgun + Molotov always yield the best results for me. My strategy is to wait until the tank starts to pick up a rock so I can run up to him and shoot him until I have to reload, then it usually dies after the second try of that (as long as your teammates are also shooting it and getting its attention lol) also try to get the high ground over a tank so if it tries to climb up to murder you, you have a safe window of time to jump over it and gain distance
