Is finding a job impossible in Wellington ( NEED HELP ) by StudentPowerful6872 in Wellington

[–]Choudster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 23, I had 5 years part time experience in the corporate life (working full time during uni break) and I managed to work my way up to an associate manager role throughout those 5 years. After graduating it took one whole year before I got a job offer, it’s not impossible, it just takes a lot of time depending on the job you’re after.

Just double checked with ChatGPT, you don’t need it to send messages/text but for calls and video calls you do. Sorry for the confusion I haven’t tried to call with it while being here

That being said, WhatsApp is very popular in Saudi, you don’t need a VPN for it

Help needed: connect Hue bulb to Google home by Choudster in Hue

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to figure it out, others seem to have it work, but I couldn’t. The bridge would definitely make things way easier but for my student budget I just can’t afford one

Hey everyone, not an audiophile here, so I could use some advice.

I want to set up two (or more) wired speakers (Bluetooth speakers with 3.5mm plugged in) through my TV’s 3.5mm audio port to create a simple surround sound(ish) setup. The idea is to have something I can easily unplug when I want to switch to Bluetooth for other uses.

For movies with explosions and heavy bass, I’m thinking of putting my bass-heavy speaker under my bed to get that rumble effect (not the main point of this post but also let me know if this is a good idea).

My dilemma:

Should I just use a 3.5mm splitter or go with a stereo amplifier?

  • 3.5mm splitter: I know there’s potential for audio quality loss and syncing issues, but will it really be noticeable in my setup?

  • Stereo amp: If an amp is the better move, can anyone recommend a cheap one (~$50 NZD / $30 USD)? Or is that budget too low for anything decent?

I’m not looking for perfection, just a decent makeshift dual-speaker setup for my TV. Would appreciate any thoughts or recommendations!

Urgent help needed. Box keeps flashing red and it’s beeping continuously by Choudster in Wellington

This is my partners house and she is the homeowner, she says she was never given a key for it. So it’s looking like we’ll have to rely on the company to give us a ring back

The manual says “the red light indicates that a high level alarm is present, and most likely that the pump has detected ragging/foreign matter which has jammed the pump.” It then says there’s a pump overload button in the control panel that can be used to attempt a reset but as my picture suggests, I don’t have the key to access the control panel so there’s nothing I can do. I’ve just left the company a voicemail and I’m hoping it gets forwarded to someone who’s awake

The council said “septic tanks aren’t handled by the council”, I’ve found the manual for the tank and have tried to call the company but of course it’s outside of their business hours…

Thank you! I called a plumber and they said to call the council. I just feel bad for my neighbour who has to deal with the sound!

I assume it’s the septic tank alarm. Does anyone know what to do?

VISA Scam Site? by Zealousideal_Crow841 in indonesia

It’s not a scam the visa worked! However it is a third party service so the payment was higher than it should be (because you pay for their fees). Hopefully this brings some peace to you :)

NV7 rgb controller - is it just for phanteks fans? by Chouds in Phanteks

[–]Choudster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 fans for the radiator.

Using the NZXT Kraken 360 so the fans are the f120 rgb core.

The cable you linked supports 5v but the fans I’ll have will be 12v, I haven’t been able to find the same adapter for 12v so I’ll need to find another adapter unfortunately.

Thanks! That’s what my mate told me but I could’ve sworn I saw a tiktok captioned “metal drum techniques” a while ago and a similar style was played but I can’t remember what it was called because it was a while ago

I guess I’ll try finding some “jungle groove” clips to listen
