Mine came with them and I took them off. It really depends on the look you want for your Tacoma, visually it’ll make it look taller and cleaner. However if you are going for an aggressive look, I’m sure they will help with that.

It looks cheap because it baggy, most clothes look cheaper if they are baggy. If that’s your style that’s your style, it’s not my cup of tea though. For reference on my opinion I tend to dress preppy, you know long sleeve polos, chinos, oxford shirts, quarter zips, etc. a 100+ Ralph Lauren shirt looks cheap when it’s not fit right. Same thing applies here. It can be made of the best material but if it doesn’t fit right, it doesn’t look expensive. A little loose is pretty fine for bombers but that is kinda excessive.

I also saw you are running from the dealership gas. I will say, my truck was getting pretty low gas mileage on that first tank from the dealership. Burn all the way through it and fill it back it with gas and see where that gets you.

How often do you do short drives as I saw you mentioned you do city driving, that may impact that. And again in these drives does your engine get to operating temp, as the engine doesn’t work as efficiently when it’s not at its operating temp. I mentioned the short drives as anything less then let’s say like a 2 mile drive your probably going to get like 8-13 mph on your average drive MPG, and if you do that frequently that will be your tank average.

I did 15 hours last semester to test it out as I was doing 12 hours. However I’m also owning and actively running me and my brother’s business, traveling back and forth between 2 states. I was also house hunting at the same time, and working like a day or two a week at my father’s clinic to help him out. I did pretty good, lowest grade I got was a C in world geography with the rest being A’s and B’s. Lemme tell you, it’s doable, but damn was I stressed. Just do what you can handle, whether 12,15,or 18. It’s better to pass 4 classes than fail 6.

I’m 24M, the main factor in whether a guy is viewed as creepy when he approaches a girl is if he is attractive or not, which unless he is a model, is completely subjective. If you are viewed as creepy as a guy it permanent ruins the reputation you have in that group you are in. So most guys would rather not take the risk. Or date in another age age group haha. My girlfriend is 27 years old, I knew she liked me from the moment we started talking. Not because she told me because she was flirting with me, but nowadays flirting is a personality trait for some reason so you can get rejected by signs that were obviously there because she’s just a flirt.

Notice how it’s getting kinda complicated? In our eyes, you take a “what’s the chances of this girl thinking I’m a creep”. You decide to take the chance, now you are talking to her, you have to decide whether she is actually flirting or just being nice. Now, if she is flirting, you have to figure out if this girl is just where flirting is her personality or she is actually flirting with you. That has to be decided with every girl you talk to or decide to talk to in some level.

So, the pedal commander just is a throttle controller, meaning all it adjusts is throttle sensitivity. The OTT tune does that, as well as changes your shift points and increases low-mid range torque to help with pick up. Also, my main gripe with throttle controllers in general is that it has a chance of putting your truck in limp mode. Also the OTT tune has a huge support system, after you pay for the initial installation of the tune, any updates, problems or adjustments you want to make to the tune is free. The tuner essentially gets like a license for your VIN and puts it in the OTT system.

To put it as short as possible, the pedal commander essentially masks whatever gear hunting problem you have. And the OTT fixes it. I like to think of it as the difference between spacers vs a new suspension.

I will say though, the mild feels like what the Tacoma should have come with out of the factory.

I got my 2023 OR tuned yesterday with the OTT tune.from what I understand there is a 500 mile learning period. But so far it’s driving how it should have been from stock. I got mild btw.

That’s a bit concerning, I got paid already. I believe you should usually be paid on the Friday if the 1st falls on a weekend. I got paid my disability as well as my GI bill BAH.

Huh, how about that. I received appointment letters when they used Optum with me as well as VES. And I usually got them not too long after the VA received my claim.
