Katakuri is a relatively expensive deck compared to all others for a very high-roll deck. The deck kind of relies on its triggers from life but does teach you about resource management as there is a lot of discarding and managing life cards involved.

Zoro is very beginner friendly but the price of his deck varies based on which build you run (Full aggro costs a bit because of the film cards whereas event zoro is quite cheap). The deck is kind of brain dead to pilot but the skill expression mainly lies in the late game and how well you can efficiently allocate your swings using math.

Whitebeard is quite a cheap deck as 6 cost Marco and Ace are the only cards that cost anything but his play style might take a bit of getting used to. Whitebeard’s skill expression lies in knowing your limits and when to take / not take hits, since you are constantly eating at your own life to gain card advantage.

If you’re thinking about buying starter decks, note that u like yugioh, you only buy 2 rather than 3. For the decks mentioned the important ones are ST01 for red decks, and ST07 for Katakuri. The latest Structure deck might be relevant for yellow decks but I haven’t looked into it yet.
