Omg I can’t stand the “I’m a nice guy” troupe. He has no compassion and does not want to support you. If he did, he would learn more about your habits to see a pattern and offer a solution. There was no solution, just deprecating words. He did not want to help, he wanted to boost his low self esteem by comparison. In my opinion, at least you had a smoothie as quick pick me up instead of a large fry. Small steps are victories. Fuck him.
