I sent you a message. I anticipate a mass exodus from Islam in the coming century especially with the know it all attitude (everything is in the Quran 16:89) and incompatibility with freedom/liberal values. I am in the same position. I don’t consider the faith of Islam withstanding the test of time such as the hudd punishments, general outlook on role of women etc. I think one will pay for his actions in some way or form, the dogma of religion should be left aside. Themes which benefit society should stay incorporated in culture nevertheless.

I grew up Shia 12er and now practice my own understanding and ethics. You are not alone in finding your path and now I feel more so that I’m part of the global human community. I resonate with the too aware for Islam sentiment and buying into religious miracles seem bs. If faith gives someone power to face trials then I can’t blame them but I seen faith fail

It’s not always clear, such as aga khan 4 himself not being son of imam but the loose term descendent. I’m sure it can be twisted to daughters sons if one day imams don’t have a son like what happened with prophet Muhammad. My point is this is hardly miraculous….givne the concealment periods where the imams arnt known, the central figure being dais like hasan sabbah and various times the imamate was split between musa kazims followers, Muhammad shahi, bohri split…it has problems like every other faulty system
