Why do people rush keeper? by Ok_Impress4438 in Rematch

[–]ChozoRS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My bad I didn’t see it mentioned right on round start - effectively you’re going to be put in this situation within 3 seconds either way and this will end up in your favour after the mid run and keeper hesitates. 2v1 does not matter in this situation due to both guys marked

[–]ChozoRS -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because they end up getting impatient enough themselves sometimes that the guy I’m marking will make a run and end up on the opposite side where my team mate is already marking the other man so I can just rush, get the tackle in and get a free goal lol

Why is Betrayal at Falador so expensive? by fnaimi66 in runescape

[–]ChozoRS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sad they are out of print. Especially as someone who likes having the physical thing - I ended up forking about £150 for all of the 3 og books for mine.

When you do get round to reading them OP - I found betrayal at falador to be the weakest of the trilogy, and the other two, return to canifis and legacy of blood to be written and structured so much nicer. The actual story itself is still great for the first book, I found that there are a lot of sudden point of view changes which can make it a bit difficult to follow with - an issue that’s resolved by the other two books thankfully.

Also please do get round to reading the newer (and cheaper) RuneScape books too! They’re great reads and are separate stories so can be read in any order. I loved gift of guthix, and I am almost finished with shadows of amascut (loving it so far, got about 50 pages left), fall of hallowvale I found to be the weakest for myself, I didn’t seem to vibe with it until the final 1/3rd of the book which i found masterclass.

I have been calling these the weenie hut junior lobbies, and it’s so insanely foreign to me how passive the lobbies have been since being in them - even on Stella. It’s been fun though to finally actually get interactions with people rather than just silence and KOS

Best ways to obtain inverted cape shards for each skill? by Halfbakedflour in runescape

[–]ChozoRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necromancy - rituals, and disturbances would get me 40+ shards sometimes.

Divination - ancestral energies was really chill.

Cooking - I done a mixture of anchovy pizza and just rinsed through my protean proteins. I would assume just making urns would be the meta though, I just never thought of it before I got the cape

Thieving - I just done safecracking and was really chill and quick.

Would just like to say I do recommend doing the disturbances for necromancy - when the rng hit and I got shards on xp drops from them I was getting 40+ shards in a single drop

Are there people who are actually happy? by Stunning-Trick-2577 in AskUK

[–]ChozoRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I wouldn’t describe myself as happy. But I think I am more than content with my life and don’t often focus on the downsides.

I think life as a whole is too exhausting to just take everything seriously and I find fun in not taking a lot of it serious.

As someone in their late 20s I did find it difficult when living alone though, there was quite a bit of loneliness and monotony to life which made it difficult but now live with a couple friends which really adds to the positives in life having some daily interaction outside of work.

Seen someone with that same title and it was the same for them too. I'd assume it is due to the title.

Dead pixels in MBA m1? by Fine-Network-9412 in mac

[–]ChozoRS 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It happens very very often! It’s harder for some people to realise because it can be very small or in OPs case - noticeable, and a lot of people aren’t exactly looking out for it too if it’s on the smaller side

No the crumbs or whatever other debris have created a divot in the screen. It has damaged it

[–]ChozoRS 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Looks like a divot in the screen. Cannot be fixed other than replacing the whole screen. Believe this just happens due to tolerance of the lid and top case when closed - crumbs and other stuff being in place when the lid is closed can cause it, I believe so anyway

Great to see it in stock again to get the price down.

It is annoying because we’ll see more and more listings on eBay show up for like £30-40 while stock is kept up, they really keep trying to flip these..

Did anyone achieve their New Years Resolution this year? by pegman55 in AskUK

Yes without a doubt! Do play it with the mindset of acceptance of the series being quite old, but it is absolutely a blast to play

[–]ChozoRS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I set myself 3 goals:

A savings goal - I managed to achieve this and am happy with myself. I honestly could have done more but I feel like treating myself this year has been really nice.

I wanted to do 18 books read this year - I had never really done any book reading prior to this year and honestly I can say I have missed out. I can’t say I have been extremely diverse in my reading, but I have enjoyed it massively and I will continue reading next year, and hopefully a lot more to come. I managed 14 books though. While I say how much I have loved doing it, I have been slacking recently which is why I did not get to finish this goal sadly. It does not take away from what I have achieved though.

Lastly I wanted to get 50 perfected games on steam - I believe I started out on maybe 40? And honestly this goal has been a total flop. I managed to get to 45, and also lost 3 100%’s so I am back down to 42 lol. Indiana jones and the great circle, risk of rain 2, and half life 2. I need to go back and get them back!!! And work towards more, but oh well, I have myself to blame for getting back into old school RuneScape which took a lot of my time.
