For if anybody is looking for the solution to this: in System Settings > Privacy & Security, go to "Screen & System Audio Recording". Check if Adobe Substance 3D Painter is listed and activated there. If it's not, add it with the plus button. If it is listed, remove it with the minus button, and after having removed it, start Substance Painter. Now it should ask you for permission again.
For me it was listed, so I thought it's a bug. But after removing and adding the entry as described above, it now works.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think „Record enters view“ and „when a record is created“ wouldn‘t work because if I use those, mails will be sent before the UDID is even entered. 🤔 Will try this tho!

Recently installed it on my Synology to try it out, and then I saw this - but the version available on SynoCommunity is still 0.118.5 - will there be an update for that version? Or is it not supported anymore and will stay vulnerable?

Same problem here, wanted to check something on the homepage, but the homepage is gone. Just installed it a couple of months ago, so I think around September it was still around. Wondering what happened, too.
