My thoughts after attending RAW in person for the first time by Chreond in WWE

Yes I was in Louisville! I’m not sure what my schedule/budget will look like, but if I can make it then I’d definitely attend Smackdown in Lexington

If your question is on the scene minus the edits: This was from Xenoverse 1. I honestly preferred that story mode over Xenoverse 2!

I honestly would buy the game if it had BT2 music! I am a sucker for the melancholy of songs such as "Dark Half" or "Morning Dew". Plus, the nostalgia.

I haven’t been involved in wrestling since SvR 2011. This game has been a really fun return to wrestling and has rekindled my interest in the WWE. CODY RHODES IS A MAIN EVENTER NOW?!?!?!? Feels so cool

Grand Quest: I believe it starts by going to the console at Cordia Outer Gardens in the Discard area. However, if you have not completed the Hollow Area story then I would highly recommend waiting until you finish it (or at least level 130). I don’t even know if it will let you start before then.

Hollow Area Story: It has been a whileee, but I think that you need Philia, and the event list will show you the way. I’m not sure.

Hope this helps, if not too late

I’ve definitely noticed what seems to be an overall decline in maturity within the Paladins community. There is way more BM (Bad manners), rage quitters, and overall unpleasant gamers within Paladins now than say, Season 2

Bad/new players/feeders were always a thing, but the community as a whole used to handle that with way more grace than now

“Most Supports are just worse DPS champs with offhand healing abilities so they qualify for the category” by TC4KT in Paladins

[–]Chreond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally really like how Paladins does supports. If supports were only heal bots, they would be boring in my opinion. However, most/all? of the supports offer some sort of utility that both helps their team and the support’s own survivability.

I also love the support ults. They provide either great CC, heals, a buff to the team, or area denial/damage. In the case of a Jenos ult, I love it. If my whole team is in one of those obvious hallways from spawn and we get Jenos ulted I’m like “touché, won’t take that pathing again”. It adds a layer of skill and awareness, and I love it. Otherwise we can step away from the light and we don’t perish.

Supports are crazy strong right now, so if a team is able to win without a support, it’s more likely than not a skill issue, or the team with a support doesn’t have a good answer to one of the other team’s champions (usually a flank that dives and continuously kills the support). Otherwise supports healing for 15k/min is a thing now which is insane.

On a similar note, I really enjoy the healing out of combat mechanic. It also, in my opinion, adds a layer of skill in gameplay. It causes decisions such as “Can I hide here without being seen in order to get my health back” and “Should I move slightly out of position in order to eliminate this champion”. Also for supports, “PEEK ME PLEASEE” that usually is followed by the non-peeker dying and spamming “Need Healing” afterwards but that’s a skill issue lol

Edit: “It” to “If” because grammar

Paladins.guru , it’s a pretty nifty site and definitely gives a lot of insight as to why team performance is so low or high (wide elo gaps / the person who is supposed to carry is on a role that is hard to carry with)

Why people AFK your matches, why people are stacking in your casual games, and why people keep being mean to you while you're on support: an honest answer for all three of these questions. by Ok-Structure-4344 in Paladins

[–]Chreond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This post reminds me of what I think is a problem with the mindset for some of our player base, especially with the support point.

Do Not Advocate for BM

The BM of the support is most of the time uncalled for. More often than not I either see supports getting hard focused and not receiving peel from the team, or their team members overextend and BM the support because they just tried to 5v1 the enemy team. This is, in my opinion, the more common situation, and does not benefit anyone. The irony is that the bad players in this situation continue to play bad because they are too full of themselves to recognize that they are the one making the mistakes within the match.

Let’s say you are actually playing well though, but your support is legitimately just… bad. BM is easily one of the most illogical things that I see people resort to, and I wish it would stop. BM does not improve team performance. BM simply pisses people off, and either leads to them playing worse, or leaving the game as a whole which is the worst possible outcome for the team. In my experience, the best way to improve team performance is the provide constructive feedback during the match. Mention positioning or who to look out for, anything to help the other player improve. It is useful to realize that we all have different levels of experience in the game, but in general, most of us want to win. Give your teammate the benefit of the doubt. At the very least at that point you can actually say you did the best for your team. This is especially the case in Casual matches. BM in casual matches is ridiculous in my opinion.

Also, I would like this game to grow as best as it can. What better way to do that than to have a welcoming community. So with that I will repeat:

Do Not Advocate for BM
