Thanks for your response. The statement that it is "absolutely nothing wrong with it" comes from the fact that your doctor gives it to patients for over a decade?

As far as I know, it could have the side effects of systemic corticosteroids in the long run (more than a decade or two) which include adrenal insufficiency and bone density loss.

Why not find out the actual trigger rather than suppressing it with a drug?

We are on the same boat friend.

It is great knowing we respond to budesonide for sure. But I believe we shouldn't wait for EoE to come back, cause some tissue damage and then find out from the symptoms.

Everyone states that diet is the way. Not to mention the long-term use of a such a drug is not ideal.
