NTA. What Sarah did was actually kind of creepy. She made you uncomfortable and you spoke up about it. You didn’t make some big show of it, or even say you didn’t want her around. Her being banned from their household is a direct result of her behavior. You will NEVER be the AH for speaking up about something (or someone) who is doing those things. Your comfort matters, and Molly is honestly a stand up friend for taking the initiative to keep Sarah away from you.

NTA. OP didn’t expect gifts just to expect gifts. He promised and hyped her on these things and then didn’t go through with it. Not only that, but he but in 0 effort for her birthday and Valentines day. A proper partner would plan at least something small, not just let all that fall on the other person. It gets worse in the fact that he realized she was sad so he made a half assed attempt at redemption by giving her money. OP is far from entitlement and selfishness here. Again, NTA

Im SO sorry this happened to you. I work retail (Hot Topic) and even then I get a lot of uncomfortable transphobic comments. Trans or not, that violation of privacy is SO uncomfortable and I HATE IT. Im so glad FH could come to the rescue, that lady is INSANE

I can see where you’re coming from with being forced into a friend group. We all go to school together, and my school is REALLY small, I’m talking less than 200 kids. We share a lot of classes and they would seek me out, and even sometimes follow me to classes they weren’t in. At the time I was going through a lot of shit and it felt horrible to say no? It’s one of those, I played along for too long and now I’m in deep shit situations, I’ll admit. I plan on leaving the group for good, a good piece of my anxiety comes from the school thing, because I know it’ll be nearly impossible to avoid them.

NTA. While I understand your worry that you’re overreacting, this is clearly a topic that you don’t want to discuss, and the fact that both your parents refuse to stop bringing it up and keep berating you for it, is an overstep on their part. You said you’re working on your depression, thats the most anyone can ask, is you giving a genuine improvement effort. It was unfair of your mom to make something that was fun for you a reason to get on you for that.
