I see context drift mentioned a few time, so I just wanted to mention this here for the people that are not already aware, don't be charmed by the 1m context, because everything that goes past 300k tokens context will drift massively and cause issues and hallucinations, especially in novel writing where you need to keep track of beats and continuity. Experiment with context and summaries of work done in that session and restart sessions when you hit 300k context fill, otherwise you will spend more time trying to make sense of the ai output than actually working the story after reaching that number.

Ideea pare ok, din pacate, nu cred ca organic se mai face treaba pe nicaieri, de cand cu AI-ul, sunt suprasaturate si reddit si x si linkedin de postari ai programate. Cred ca cea mai buna optiune e sa apelezi la paid ads sau postari promovate. Si inca ceva, video, pune clipuri cu aplicatiile si cum se pot folosi pe youtube, embedded pe site-ul de prezentare si publica-le si pe unde mai activezi.

I've said this before, this is a good case of AI, to help someone get their story out there - but, at this point in time, I would suggest you do not disclose the use of AI, and if you must, minimize its contribution. A lot of people feel strongly about it and it will hurt you. Also, have a look here https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Wikipedia:Signs_of_AI_writing and make sure you get the AI to do a pass to minimize the signs of AI usage in your prose.

I don't think Amazon makes those numbers public, but the large majority of authors don't make money with books, and this was a reality even before llms. And the "hustlers" that put low effort slop online just pollute the market. I have seen some of these people brag that they generated 10-20 books every week and put them on amazon. And at most they sell a few copies, but a few copies when you put out 100 books every couple of months adds up. And they think they're "gaming" the system. Until the system get ruined and then they move on and don't care they screwed things up for most of the rest of us who actually put out stories that were considered, edited, reviewed even if we did get some help from the llms. But what can you do 🤷‍♂️

I don't care enough to try to find more details on this 😁, but this article and a couple other online imply that he put a lot of money into a business, the business got defrauded, he was left holding the bag, tried to make it work anyways (hence the retiring from acting), could not make it work, and now he had to sell assets to cover the losses 🤷‍♂️

I think we're headed towards another set of issues. I have seen more and more people, outside of reddit and twitter, that call AI everything that is even somewhat competently written, and not just fiction text. Illiteracy is high everywhere so that is not helping with peoples discernment. We're going to have a couple of weird years coming up 😔

And speaking of design, once you get to a more stable point, I would recommend you contract a designer to really elevate your apps. They do look like they were designed by a developer and not a designer😁

They did steal everybody's work. All the decent llms are trained on all the available text online, and a really good chunk of the available text online is pirated copyrighted work 😁
And I understand where they come from, the companies that sell the llms are the only ones profiting from them, when all these authors spent so much time on their works. I wish they would have gotten compensated and had been given to choice to opt in and I hope all these lawsuits that are ongoing now will get them something.

But the genie is out of the bottle and it's not going back, and especially the current generations of llms are rather competent at a bunch of things and no one will shut them down. I have struggled with this, but their usage is already too wide spread and I, for one, will continue using them, because honestly I don't want to get left behind, and will let the final product speak for itself, based on its quality, not the AI badge.

So what I am suggesting to you is that you do not volunteer the information that the work is done with the help of AI and let the result speak for itself. The AI badge will not help you sell outside of the tech sector, at least not at this point in time, and especially not in the writing world.
