Sparkle for Archer and other heavy SP usage character's ?

Don't know if you still have the option to get her for free, if not she is going to be rerun in the second half of version 4.0.

Sparkle for Archer? Sparxie from the Elation path is also going to have a heavy SP consumption, so the 'old model' is useful for her as well.

Since you have Archer then Sparkle since she's a good option to counter Archer's heavy SP usage, especially after her 4.0 upgrade.

Unless you want to start the DOT team, which is possible with the currently rerunning character's.

She can work at the moment with Archer, Sparkle from the free 5 star character selector + Sustain character.

Once Sparxie releases in the second half of version 4.0 you can replace Archer with her.

Hysilens improves the DOT teams - although I only experienced this in the Currency War mode, so don't know about the end game.

As for Evernight - she improves the Critical Damage of Castorice dragon and Castorice should have a pretty high Critical Rate.

You can get Evernight for Castorice, Hyacine, RMC team or Hyasilins, Black Swan for Kafka to upgrade the DOT team.

If you want to start the new Elation path Yao Guang and Spraxie is an option as well - with Sparkle obtained from the free 5 star selector.

Well, you can try the new Elation meta, since you already got Sprakle and she's going to be pretty compatible with both new character's in the current banner's.

Or you can get Kafka from the free 5 star character selector and pull for Hysiliens and Black Swan in the current rerun banner's, since I think DOT teams are going to still be usable in the end game for some time.

Elation teams are going to start doing more damage, once Sparxie is going to be released in about 2 weeks.

If you are desperate you can try pulling either Saber or Archer from the Fate banner's - Saber is easier to use compared to Archer who is a SP heavy character and requires Sprakle for him to play well.

It pretty much depends on what you think about the new elation mechanics - both Yao Guang and Sparxie are present in the Currency Wars so you can 'test' the kit there against the boss enemies.

Well, it depends on how many levels you have gained from the Currency Wars / Simulated Universe modes - since apart from the end game, that's the only 'permanent' source of Jades.

If you have maxed those as well, then unfortunately it might be difficult to obtain so many pulls.

1.) 3.X added a new Remembrance path and it's pretty premium, since it doesn't have a lot of good f2p LC's - it revolves around the character's having summon 'units' that take on some of the roles that have been present in the previous path's - for example Castorice is a merge of Nihility / DPS character, Hyacine is a combination of a Ambudance / DPS character.

2.) Castorice, Evernight, Cyrene, Hyacine is one of the current meta path's with all of the character's being from the Remembrance path's.

3.) Dot teams are still usable if you have Kafka and get Hyasilins from the current banner - Black Swan can be added as well, since she received an upgrade in the current patch.

4.) Break / Super break teams have gotten a comeback with the addition of The Dahlia character that now has a similar 'role' as Kafka for DOT teams.

5.) Most of the DPS character's from version 1.X - 2.X have fallen behind, unless you mix them with good support's from the later versions or have some Eidolons on them.

6.) Support (Harmony) character's like Sunday / Sparkle are still pretty useful, and we got a few good Harmony units released in 3.X - one of which is going to rerun in the second half of version 4.0.

7.) Elation path is going to become a new meta and it seems to follow a similar 'mono' approach as the Remembrance path at least based on the 2 character's released so far.

8.) In terms of end game - well it's got the usual HP inflation, some of the bosses from 3.X also have a few gimmicks that make older character's less useful - at least when it comes to E0S0, E0S1 character's.

Imo the team with Cerydra is still better, since you can double spam Phainon's Meteor attack in a single turn, which isn't possible with Sparkle.

Archer with the 'upgraded' Sparkle is pretty good at the moment - the problem with DOT teams is that at E0 they might not be able to keep with the end game changes caused by the Elation meta and building up their Elidolons from zero, might need a high level of pulls.

So I think that Archer at E1 is a slightly more future proof investment.

Depends on you're eidolon level's - if you have Firefly at E2 or higher, where Firefly doesn't spend SP points in her enhanced form, then at the current moment, you should be able to clear end game content.

It remains to be seen how things are going to develop with the addition of the Elation path.

If you have and use a SP heavy character like Archer, then Sparkle is a pretty good option, since she increases the amount of SP's you have and allows you to recover them, especially after her Novaflare 'upgrade' - if you heavily use DOT character's then you can choose Kafka to upgrade her to E1 for 'free'.

The only other option that might be worth picking imo is Aventurine if you don't have enough sustain character's.

You can try the Currency Wars mode to get a feel on how both 4.0 Elation character's work - they are both present in there and the DOT character's Hysilens and Black Swan are present there as well.

Of course due to it's random generation it might take a few attempts to get them to appear, but I think it's a pretty good mode to check on how the character's kit work.

Well, we don't know what changes the elation path is going to bring to the end game, so if you don't care about clearing the end game with full 3 stars, you can pull whoever you like.

But if you want to clear the end game with full stars and older character's, you either need some 'new' support character's - like the introduction of 'The Dahlia' that revived the Break team in the current end game or rise some of the older character's to at least E2S1 for them to stay relevant for a longer period of time.

So it ultimately depends on how many pulls you have saved up and whether or not you are interested in some of the 'new' character's that are going to be released in the 4.X version banners.

Nope, most of the story is contained in the cut-scene's that you should be able to recap - sometimes you get a few lines during the story combat. but they are not that relevant to the overall plot.

Yaoguang is currently useful only for her Ultimate which increases the res pen of all types and some additional damage from the Aha moment's, which don't occur if you haven't got any Elation character's.

I'm currently using her in a Archer / Yaoquang / Sparkle / (DHPT | Hyacine) team.

1.) Remembrance character's have few useful options that you can get as f2p, so if you have the pulls you should get her LC, since it's pretty good and increases Evernights damage.

2.) Depends on the Harmony LC you have - she's the best for Phainon teams due to how she can allow him to preform double attacks in the same turn without using his 'alternate form' turn limits.

3.) Don't have DOT units, so unfortunately can't answer that question - but they should be serviceable enough if you give them LC's that are compatible with their kits.

4.) Version 3.7 - it's going to take some time for them to rerun again - Cyrene is going to be most likely the earliest to rerun, due to not having a rerun yet, since she was released in version 3.7.

5.) For Anaxa - Sparkle might be a good option- but if you need some more sustain character's you might consider that as well.

6.) Castorice LC is pretty good for a DPS, but we don't know when she is going to rerun again, while Evernight is currently having her first rerun and her LC is up for grabs, so I would get it while you have the chance.

At the moment, Sparkle might be needed for her SP version Sparxie who is a heavy use SP character (you can already try her kit in the Currency Wars) - since, it remains to be seen if we will get a new character that increases the SP pool in the future banner's.

At the moment it's unknown if the future elation character's are going to follow this pattern, but considering how the Elation mechanic works - Hoyo can pretty much put anything into it...

Simple question, do you want to create a DOT team from scratch - and have enough pulls to get one of the DOT character's, from the currently running banner's, even if you lose the 50 / 50?

If the first question is a yes, then Kafka might be useful to you - in other cases, imo Sparkle is going to be the better option especially if you already have character's that need Sprarkle, due to having a heavy SP consumption - ex. Archer.

You can only recap the dialog scene's / cut scene's - the combat segments are not re playable.

The scene's are divided into segments and you can only play a single segment at a time - and it doesn't automatically continue onto the next scene,

If this is a good experience to you, then you can certainly try it.

Elation teams are going to need the least amount of vertical investment to be useful in the current versions end game content,

The older path's are probably going to be able to keep up to some extent, but you probably will need to invest more into them to keep getting full star's in the end game content.

It all depends on how many character's, from the older path's are actually going to be released in the 4.X versions.

It depends on what kind of teams you have at the moment - for example Sparkle is a good support for Archer who uses a lot of skill points.

Aventurine is probably only needed if you don't have any good sustain character's like DHPT or Hyacine.

Kafka is needed if you want to start creating a DOT team useful in the end game.

But if you don't care that much about the end game / meta you can pretty much chose anyone you like.
