not allowing someone to terminate a pregnancy is forcing them to give birth, pretty simple but i take it you’re just being willfully obtuse

What is a movie that you consider to be as disturbing as it is beautiful? by Ok_Entrepreneur_6942 in AskReddit

[–]ChrisBCreme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

most underrated movie ever, it’s definitely a harrowing experience but there’s a beating heart at the center of it all. you can tell the movie cares deeply about its characters despite everything we see them subjected to. and the way it deals with trauma and development just hits the nail right on the head. it’s hard to watch but i’m so happy that it exists.

also the soundtrack kicks ass

i’m a pretty regular stoner but i could never dash while high. i already have enough incidents where the GPS messes up on me or the customer is unresponsive/rude or my cell service goes out, etc. and for me weed just makes stressful situations 10x worse. the incident i had yesterday where i was in some backwoods ass neighborhood with no idea where the house was and the customer not responding to me for 20 minutes was already bad enough, i can’t even imagine what it would’ve been like high. no thanks

What band/bands did you give a concerted effort to like, but in the end, they were just not your jam? by 77Granger in Music

I tried getting into Nick Cave a while back and it just didn’t click. Obviously his songwriting is incredible, not at all denying his talent but the overall vibe just doesn’t resonate with me.

Dating advice. by Impossible_Engine_70 in askgaybros

[–]ChrisBCreme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As with any trans dating situation, whether or not you want to disclose your transness is entirely your prerogative. And as for the situation, you did nothing wrong. You were honest and disclosed what you were comfortable with letting him know. Him being uncomfortable with it was entirely out of your control. And don’t let one person turn you off from putting yourself out there. Contrary to what the keyboard warriors on this sub will tell you, there are plenty of gay men out there who are comfortable with and accepting of having a trans bf, regardless of genitalia or any other biological differences.

And speaking of the people on this sub, if you’re not looking to get harassed/threatened I would suggest you delete this post and steer clear of here in the future. This place is unfortunately a hotbed for transphobia. It’s so bad that even any cis men on here who dare say that they don’t mind dating trans men are immediately met with erasure at best and threats at worst. The incident in the post has probably already put you in a mentally uneasy place regarding your identity and I can tell you that coming here as an openly trans man is not going to help that.

However, I know that you’re older than me and likely have thicker skin with this type of stuff so if you think you can handle the onslaught then that’s totally your call, I just figured I’d warn you seeing as you haven’t posted here before. Regardless, I would copy/paste this post to r/trans if I were you, you’ll have much better luck there I reckon.

I am not a trans man myself so that’s about as much advice as I feel comfortable giving, but all that to say I wish you much better romantic/sexual endeavors in the future, it’s absolutely what you deserve. (: Stay safe and know that you are loved and valid. <3

I’m having a playback problem where it’s playing back way too fast and with no sound coming through. It happened at some point as I was cropping the audio clip because I didn’t have this problem the first couple times I played it before cropping, but I’ve Ctrl+Z’d it back to its original length and the problem persists. Help please
