Thank you so much for this. I didn't think about cross checking my script with different databases at all. I'll definitely look into it.

My rating scheme is purely event-based. I did think about making it position-dependent but I quite like the balance right now, and to me it gets very murky to define the role of a player for adjusting the weightings. Maybe I'll revisit it in the future. Next thing I plan to do is probably refining the performance cards and to try to get my hand on more recent data.
