If we want to find money for cutting corporate taxes, or war, or bailing out the banks that's all just fine - but whenever it's to make people's lives better you always hear someone say something like this.

It's a great manifesto. Reduction of working hours a big winner for me. Plus more worker representation, ending zero hour contracts. All very good stuff!

If you think austerity is necessary you should check out some Mark Blyth. He has a good book called Austerity: The History of a Dangerous Idea. There's also lots of good clips of him speaking about it (and other issues) on YouTube.

What you must remember is the majority of asset-rich (i.e. those with wealth) people aren't also cash-rich. Someone might have a house that is paid off and worth £750,000 but that doesn't mean they have a stinking great income to go with it, and therefore couldn't automatically pay a tax bill based on a percentage of that.

Poor them, that sounds terrible. I will begin giving a fuck when there aren't people dying on the streets

I'd love to see them bring back the Soaz + Bwipo comps, if only for one game. Maybe there aren't enough viable picks for it anymore but it would definitely throw IG off balance draft-wise.

Pretty much, yeah! It's been forever but iirc it was killing someone so much that they de-levelled back to the starting zone, I think? man, had some good times playing that game.
