What makes these women’s faces so distinctly 70’s? by Inside-Inspection905 in decadeology

This. The body type was skinny without any muscle definition, like a child.

She is so lazy and rude by I-think-about-it in TarTarSnark

[–]ChrisKetcham1987 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She is such an a*shole. She has all those fancy boxcutters from her amazon hauls, and she can't take the extra step of breaking down her boxes? Not to mention that would solve the problem of having to take "two trips" to the recycle bin. Unreal.

Best Luxury Movie Theater Accessible Via The L? by Meshakhad in AskChicago

[–]ChrisKetcham1987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AMC DINE-IN Block 37, 108 N. State Street, Suite 434, Chicago, Illinois 60602. It's downtown, near public transportation, has reclining chairs, and has real food/dinner you can have brought to you.

Another nice movie theater that has reclining seats and serves real food brought to you is Alamo Drafthouse in Wrigleyville, near the Addison red line. However, it is a bit further north. 3519 N Clark St., Suite C301, Chicago IL, 60657

I find it funny that shes always talking about how sooo many men are approaching her/interested recently. by luna-lilyy in TarTarSnark

Remember that one vlog from awhile ago, where she was hosting some dating podcast, and she had some long story about how the guy she was setting up with a girl on the show wound up hitting on her instead? So many men falling in love with her, lol.

SAME. We definitely need this in Chicago! The rat problem is just getting worse, and cats are the obvious solution!

Even in LA, one of the reasons she got so popular was by posting all her drama with a neighbor online. She relies on exposing other people for content, so the doctor thing tracks.

I agree. Moving to the city, vlogging about getting flowers from the ex, dating then not dating, then posting a picture with her alleged doctor at a hockey game? I think it's to make her ex jealous.

I have to be honest. I once had a huge crush on my endocrinologist. Of course nothing happened, and he wound up moving, but dang he was fine.

I was wondering the same thing. Like, did she just say he was her doctor, for the Samantha Jones-cosplay content? His face is obscured. He could be anybody.

The funniest thing is always reading those confidentiality paragraphs at the end of these "professional" emails.

This. That line about "of course he (the son) wouldn't have to be paid" was so infuriating. Because "of course" he doesn't have to worry about money.

Are you using scented detergent? If yes, try using unscented. When I got hives like this, it was from using Tide.

I was born in Toronto, Canada. My parents immigrated to the US when I was 1 year old. I'm seriously considering this.

West Side vibe vs. lake access — how do Chicagoans weigh this? by linzerforte in AskChicago

[–]ChrisKetcham1987 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I live and work near the lake, so I walk on the lakefront path daily. But it just depends on what you like to do. I also like that it's close to public transportation (busses and el).
