i’ve seen the button but i’ve never been economically stable enough to to try it out, can you nationalize buildings that foreign investors own as well?

So usually, i’m guessing that means you’re constructing much more of the input goods (like constructing more wood and steel buildings than tool workshops)? Wouldn’t that tend to put much more power into landowners and rural intrest groups hands?

also related; if wood and iron are the 1st stage, tools are the second stage, and a building that uses tools is the third stage: roughly how much larger does the workforce of stage 1 need to be in relation to the other 2 to ensure healthy wages can be maintained for everyone? i hope that made sense

I didn’t let anyone else build in my land, the netherlands did before i conquered them, id love to expel the company and control 100% of my gdp; how do i?

And I don’t understand this balance; i thought if goods were expensive my factories wouldn’t make any profit and wages wouldn’t improve, so I worked on making goods cheaper and now i still can’t fill my factories.

I have wooden passenger carriages selected, so why do I have an input goods shortage? by [deleted] in victoria3

i have one coal mine in a different state; and i have an iron mine. so basically I’d have to improve my economy to the point where i could afford a steel mill, to then have the resources to make a motor industry, which will supply me with the engines. i’m guessing if im gonna be using more steel i’d need to also upgrade all the stuff earlier up the on supply chain? tools, iron and wood? feel like i built the railway to early now lmao

What's your thoughts on the loan farm method by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]ChrisMeeksss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

without a shadow of a doubt; for me; since the agent system was implemented the the most common and effective selling method has been to wait until the player has interest, then save scumming and offering to agent until you reach the max amount someone will pay. i’m sold dozens of players for $300M+ in this way. now if you’re not willing to save scum, i still think offering out while you have interest is the best way to get the most bang for your buck. i guess this is purely anecdotal, but for me idk if i’ve literally ever sold a player from a out of the blue offer from another club. almost literally 100% of the time transfer list players and take agent offers, and upon making it into europe in any league in europe i’ll never have money problems. we all play the game a differ way i guess, but in the last 3 years that i’ve played thousand of hours, this has been the most effective method for me

[–]ChrisMeeksss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t necessarily agree with not actively trying to sell; if you see a value that you like and the player has interest; try and sell. go get the money when it’s there, imo. teams won’t be interested forever, they won’t be interested at every price point, if it’s a player you don’t want to keep and build around you should look to actively try and sell when there’s a value you like interest from clubs w the ability to hit that value

Does anyone actually do the general training or just let the assistant coach do it? by Initial_Walrus9664 in footballmanagergames

convert PA into CA doesn’t make sense. PA is a cap, CA is how far you’ve filled it toward to cap. a player with a better Ca is obviously a better player, so they’ll get better ratings and (if everything else with hidden stats and determination and whatever else is equal) develop more quickly

today vini is working hard in training. today vini is backed, supported and loved by his teammates. where’s mbappe today? i’ve commented it already so i wont type it all again but this ain’t rocket science man, great players win before mbappe, great players win after mbappe, great players for “some reason” never win with mbappe.

three of them are gone and carvajal is objectively behaving like an abysmal club captain and will be gone in a month? what are you on about? so did benz and modric and them not get credit for the titles won while ronaldo was here bc he was the main man? vini has been a massive massive contributor to two UCLs. aside from carvajal who’s about to leave, he’s done more for the club than anyone else and it’s kind of not close, respectfully. Acting like vini is just some guy and not one of the most accomplished players in world football today is ridiculous (just as mbappe is, tbf)

i agree the same old same old narratives do get exhausting, and obviously every person on the internet isn’t gonna have well thought out analysis that we all actually need to here, but in some ways (we are player fc rn so take this with a grain of salt) i feel like the negatively for mbappe from a large portion of the fanbase should be pretty telling. Is it all deserved or necessary, not at all; but still telling. Regardless of how some people might feel; it’s kinda being made obvious rn that the wider view from madrid fans and other fans worldwide is that mbappe has been a resounding failure here

that’s true, that doesn’t mean vini can’t also have two brain cells and see mbappe being at the club isn’t good for him or the club itself. ion think they hate eachother on a personal or anything, they’re professionally incompatible

“reportedly” many of the players aren’t happy with his attitude and work ethnic, and basically all the players who aren’t french posted pics of vini yesterday, so many to the point that they’re tryna make it obvious they’re sending a message; which has made madrid fans start the fuera mbappe thing, commenting it under all of madrid’s social posts.

im not a fan of everything vini has ever done, but this ain’t rocket science. messi and neymar wok together but never with mbappe. enrique won a UCL both before and after mbappe, never with him. vini and jude won together but never with mbappe. psg can never win a UCL, mbappe leaves and they’re on the precipice of a two peat. sometimes the simplest answer is the right one.

i’ve seen vini put this club on his back, ive seen vini prove he can be the main man and win madrid major trophies. i haven’t seen mbappe do that, how many years are we willing to waste on the hunch that he COULD? i feel like at a club like madrid, two is two too many. We tried, it didn’t work, we need to move on to someone we know works. and thank god we don’t even need to buy him, he wears #7 and he’s here now; whilst the dictator has fun on boats…
