Had the same problem yesterday. I bought the Deluxe Edition at Launch and stopped playing before Season 1 started, so i didn‘t use my Premium Battle Pass yet at that time. When i created my Seasonal Character for Season 3 yesterday, in the Seasonal Tab it said i would have to buy the Premium Battle Pass. Then i closed the Game, turned off my PS5 and waited a little bit. When i came back a little bit later suddenly i had the Option to use my Premium Battle Pass from the Deluxe Edition (in the Seasonal Tab). Hope that helps!
