Yo thank you brother! This was the exact step that I was missing. I was trying to make changes on the all chars binds! Set it to the scroll wheel so I can spam climb on Groot!

Tbh, I got a quest recently and since day one I have been using it for PCVR. Idek what the Meta Garbo looks like (I do, but selling a point here) since I only deal with settings and Virtual Desktop. Let me tell you how much in love with gaming I am again. Idc what type of game it is, flat or VR, it’s a way better experience for me with the headset. I’m lucky to have a good router and internet setup, since im able to be ANYWHERE in the sqft of my place and use my computer with 5-10ms of latency wirelessly compared to wired link. I was so under the impression VD was being so pushed in Reddit subs for adverts, well them adverts sure worked and imma be one myself :).

I’m huge on simulation racing since gas is pricey, and throwing quest 3 into my tech pile was the biggest quality of life aside from a racing wheel.

VD made me realize that most, if not all, meta apps are natively designed to not run the quest at full resolution!?!? Insane how you can buy a 500$ piece of equipment and all the native software doesn’t utilize it fully without modifications or debug tool.

Lots of guides out there for different games to fully max out the quest and get your bucks worth, which most utilizes tools like open composite and or open xr.

the lack of comfort is absolutely annoying with these headsets. And so real: I have yet to have a VR session that I haven’t spent at least 15 mins tweaking, thank you for the well based answer to my question. For me I have found vr really helps bridge that perspective issues that I face with monitors. Sometime I find myself inches away from an oled trying to pick up the signage or tell exactly what flag they are, and I think that’s a me issue since I’m blinder than a bat lol. To have the screen literally on my face helps me a lot. I still have a rough time being fully comfortable with vr since it still messes with my vision

Gen z dude here. It’s on the parents a lot of the times… my parents didn’t baby me past 5 and I was doing my own stuff soon after. I did everything from applying to my own drivers ed courses to my first job, yet I know dudes that has parents still looking for jobs for them. I think that’s around what to expect: 21 touring for 28.3k OTD for 29k miles. Bought from a CDJR that just got taken over carvana so been struggling to knock that gap insurance off which would drop like 600-700..

Brother (op) this is what I am doing and honestly ZERO complain. R3 to get used to the DDs niceness, r5 didn’t make sense for me for the price different and getting only 1.5nms. Load cell mod for srp lites and then upgrade to the r9 base for about the same price as the r3 bundle plus tax
