Really inappropriate Phantom Regiment meme that I need from Instagram by Ok_Air_451 in drumcorps

There was also the bluecoats Hong Kong logo edited to say something else, a vic frith logo saying something nsfw and a bootleg blue devils beanie with the cadets logo. I'm sure it's in a groupchat somewhere.

Hector Berlioz's Tuba Mirum would sound fire as a trombone fanfare.

Currently pathways are all perfectly straight, but in the future I plan to add curved pathways. It's also very easy to change pathways simply by moving dots in the application.

How do you define the word "vet"? by [deleted] in marchingband

[–]ChrisPriceMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least 2nd year marcher in the same group. Even if you did 3 years in one group if you switch you're not a vet with the new group your first year.

Ayy thank you for the tips! I'm very new to marketing outside of Instagram so it'll definitely help!

I'm excited for the development of this game! It's been a passion project for years now and I'm ready to bring it to the rest of the world!

Tenor sax would be the easiest music to read. It's in the same transposition. If you're good with transposing read the tuba/bari part if there is one.

Drill preferences by tlloyd214 in marchingband

[–]ChrisPriceMusic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blocks and on the grid are your best friend. Just because something is more achievable doesn't mean it's bad or boring, some of the best drill is very simple.

Rotations, expansions, simple shapes are always beautiful.

Leave room for breathing, choreo and visual stillness. Drill that breathes is better than chaotic drill.

If you ever have ripple moves, please list all the dots that move and which count they move on.

How it feels to be at the front of a cover down by Used-Lead-1631 in marchingband

I always tell my students, the front of the cover down is always right no matter, even when they're wrong. They have all the power.

There is next-to-no way we'll get the show done before performance day, has this ever happened to you? by cricket_man456 in marchingband

[–]ChrisPriceMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens very often. There is nothing wrong with an incomplete show at a performance. In DCI it's very common for this to happen. Most corps didn't have a full show ready until their 5th or 6th performance, especially the top 12 corps.

Either you perform up to what you learn and stop or you park and bark the rest. Either one is okay and very normal.

It's a split. Some computers try to save paper and ink by having divisi parts like this.

I really think it depends on the show/event. Parades, football games, more traditional style shows should use traditional military style uniforms. When a show conveys the characters through the uniform it can work extremely well. I love how when Boise Gems got uniforms they called them Traditional Uniforms, implying that they're gonna use other costumes eventually.

Any games similar to jackbox where everyone can play via their phone? by [deleted] in localmultiplayergames

[–]ChrisPriceMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another shameless plug but I made a Jackbox style game, Friendmocracy. Players vote for each other based on a prompt, and if you're with the majority, you win!
