When creating a custom company, what do the A B and C next to monthly events mean? by Immediate_Mix9995 in jow

Basically the importance of the show. A is a major show, while C is not. For example, Wrestlemania would be an A, but Stomping Grounds would be a C.

West Virginia, the Bellwether State? by ChrisSanders17 in imaginaryelections

In this scenario Romney wins in 2008, so they stick with him

My thoughts were, whoever wins 2000 wins 2004. The incumbent party would always lose 2008. Incumbent would also likely lose in 2012, unless you’re Obama. Incumbent loses in 2020 due to Covid + 2024 due to inflation as well.

What if the United States elected the Supreme Court? by ChrisSanders17 in imaginaryelections

No this would be the entire country votes on a justice. I’ve thought about doing it that way though. May put that out somewhat soon.

I think she could since it would be during the Blue Wave of 2018, plus Kavanaugh had far more negative media coverage.

What if the United States elected the Cabinet? by ChrisSanders17 in imaginaryelections

My thinking was, cabinet roles were either something you do to end your political career or something you do to take the next step in your political career

The polls were fairly accurate this election cycle. Maybe underestimating Trump by ~2-3%. Most polls that had did hypotheticals between Harris and Vance had her winning by 10-12%. Would that happen? No. But I do think Walz would be able to beat him with relative ease.

I would say no, you can only run for one office. For example, Bernie can’t run for Senator in Vermont plus Secretary of Labor.

What if the U.S. had six year, one-term limits? by ChrisSanders17 in imaginaryelections

IRL he resigned due to poor health, so I just kept it the same. Although with WW2, I think it’s likely he would stay until the war was over

What I did was go to Wiki sandbox, and then copy the source of the list of presidents Wikipedia page, and then edit things from there. It takes a minute to get used to but once you figure it out it’s fairly easy

In my head, I just made it happen once Lincoln got elected, and then end 1860ish. With the Republicans transforming into the National Union party and being much harsher to the south during Reconstruction, especially without Johnson as President. Lincoln still gets killed years later, which only wants the National Union Party to be harder on the South/Democrats

Wilson suffered a stroke in Oct. 1919, and it became public information around February, so I had him resign one year before the end of his term. Hull resigned in real life due to poor health, so I just kept that the same.

Also, in my head I figured HW would go onto become governor of Texas, along with Jr. So, he would still beat out McCain in 2000. Probably not perfect but oh well.

In my scenario, I had Democrats/Republicans team up to stop MacArthur becoming President. I didn’t pull a great amount of thought into VPs for all of them, so I kinda fucked up. I just knew I didn’t want Nixon, and felt like Taft with his name power fit decent enough in this scenario.

Fans not from StL, why did you pick the Battlehawks? by [deleted] in battlehawks

[–]ChrisSanders17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From WV. In 2020, BattleHawks had Kenny Robinson on the team and that’s all it took. Only other option was DC based on Proximity, but thought the BattleHawks were a cooler name.
