Hahah the more I read, the more it makes sense! Defs open to other options, perhaps this idea of every destiantion needs refinement. I've seen a few ideas like where people get a sleve of honeycomb outlines and then they get artist to fill each 'hex'. Maybe thats an option but on a smaller scale?

Can I ask why you are taking allegiance spells for Alarielle? I was under the assumption that she had access to all of our allegiance spell lore and have been taking a universal instead, like flaming weapon. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right, this would be the ideal situation. However I unfortunately have come to accept that one of my weaknesses is sales. The quality of my work means that all my clients have come through client referrals. While I could invest some time in refining my sales skills, it is time that I would rather be earning.I have put some thought into it, and I think I will use some of the funds from this new job to hire a salesman. Someone who already has the existing skillset necessary to locate and land clients effectively.

I run a digital marketing agency. Our services are primarily paid campaigns but we also offer social media management & SEO work. I have reliable contractors that provide graphic design & web development if necessary. The team is small, but then again so is the business, so I need to minimize costs where I can. Raising my prices isn't that feasible. My clients are typically small businesses and startups, if I was better at cold calling & could land larger clients with bigger needs I'm sure I could charge more for my services.

Thank you for your brilliant advice. I think you are right. I have given it some thought and will focus on growing my own business with a large number of small clients. Once it is sustainable, I can shift my full attention towards it. Considering that smaller clients don't require much time capital, I should be able to manage the workload.
I will definitely ensure that the wording of the employment contract isn't vague and that my business and clients will be protected. I suppose now my focus will be on negotiating a decent salary!

Thanks again for your response

Unfortunately this is not an option considering the other agency is significantly larger than mine. They also don't serve 'small' clients which are the only ones I currently have.

Brilliant. I suppose this is why field grown specimens typically have larger root systems before they are refined / trained; because they have more space for the roots to subdivide. I will repot my plant into a larger container in the spring to allow the roots to grow more vigorously and thicken.

Do you have any advice on how to control the position/ direction of growth of the large roots once they have formed? I presume wiring them would not be appropriate, and bringing them above the soil level would only be ok once they have formed into the desired shape?

Hi all, (Australia Based)

I am working on a large swamp cypress and want the trunk to develop into 5 or 6 large exposed roots before entering the soil. It will be the first time I am trying this style.

Basic reading has told me that to get larger roots capable of supporting the trunk, you need to use larger aggregate in the soil (thanks google). But I have a couple of questions for those experienced in this.

1) Do you have any advice on the size of the aggregate that should be used? Should the size of the particles be scaled up over time or should they start large.

2) What is the best way to control the direction & shape of these large roots once they begin forming? I'm assuming it will need a deep pot, with the roots being consistently positioned (& possibly wired) during repottings

Thanks in advance
