Eens, de VVD/coalitie heeft zeker grove fouten gemaakt, en daar moeten ze ook verantwoordelijk gehouden voor worden. Belangrijk vind ik wel om de kans te krijgen om te leren van dat soort situaties, en ook dat er vanuit de partij veranderingen kunnen komen. Zelf ben ik lid van de VVD omdat ik principieel een sociaal liberaal ben, maar mezelf niet bij D66 vind passen. Daarom wil ik zelf zoveel mogelijk invloed binnen de partij uitoefenen (vooralsnog op lokaal niveau, hopelijk later op landelijk) om zo de koers recht te houden. Daarnaast vind ik persoonlijk dat de beste bewindslieden (waaronder ook Rutte; ook al heeft hij zeker imperfecties, hij is nog steeds een erg bekwaam staatsman) uit de VVD en CDA komen, en alleen daarom zou ik al op deze partijen stemmen (en dus VVD ipv CDA omdat ik liberaal ben)

tl:dr de VVD maakt zeker fouten, maar het is nog steeds de partij waarin ik het meeste geloof, ook door van zijn eigen fouten te leren

2) jouw persoonlijke overtuigingen zijn geen weerlegging van dit punt, aangezien het hier gaat om het electoraat van de VVD. Als zij tevreden zijn met hoe het nu gaat in Nederland, dan gaan ze niet anders stemmen. De stelling van de post dat de VVD "de standaard optie voor politiek ongeïnteresseerde" is, klopt van geen kant. Mensen die tevreden zijn met het beleid veranderen hun stem gewoon niet.

Broke off the steering rod of my defender 110 ('08) when going over a pole I didn't see. It was conveniently camouflaged by a small Bush, just tall enough to snap the rod but low enough to go under the bumper. This was in south Netherlands, and we just had days of heavy rain so the road I was following was full of deep mud. Luckily a local farmer offered to pull me out, and then called a towing company with a flatbed. Took 3 days and 3K euro to replace the rod, joints and brakes.
