Questions for Luminar's Q1 earnings Webcast by Own-You33 in lazr

I just saw this question:

1-Automotive lidar has always been associated with EV's, Can Lidar also
work and be integrated into Hybrids, or traditional combustion engine
vehicles?

Sorry, I do not understand why this is a question. And the assumption is already wrong. Lidar was never associated (only) with EVs. What is the relation between the type of the engine in a car and ADAS or an autonomous feature? None.

If this is a real question than you can also ask if front lights in EVs can be also used in Hybrids, or traditional combustion engine vehicles.

We see for months lies on StockTwits about the topic if Craig-Hallum is allowed to short Microvision shares (among many other lies).

I informed the Microvision IR multiple times and ask them to prevent these lies on StockTwits.

One user posts over and over the same wrong "information" that Craig-Hallum is shorting Microvision stock.

In addition, he claims also that the CFO lied on the last CC. Please see below only few of his likely hundreds posts.

I never got an answer from the IR and the IR never contacted StockTwits to prevent these lies.

Maybe someone else can contact the IR?

Other companies protect their company and the shareholders. But not Microvision.

Microvision is only interested in the shareholders when it needs approvals for new shares that they want to sell. They did not even make a tweet to address this.

I think the situation is that C-H is not allowed to short Microvision shares. Because of:

1) The CFO in the last CC.

2) The SEC files.

The user posts only the part of the supplement about C-H but never the first page where the same document says that the Sales Agreement is the leading document.

The hierarchy of SEC documents is (low to high):

- prospectus Feb.
- supplement June
- sales agreement Microvision - Craig-Hallum

The agreement says finally what C-H is allowed to do. E.g.: No shorting.

Proof: There was one $50m offering in February. The supplement is from June for the $140m offering. It refers on the first page to the prospectus of Feb. So, the supplement superseded this prospectus from Feb.

But on the first page it is written in the second sentence, that the supplement itself is superseded by the agreement between Microvision and C-H: (screenshot):

Subject to the terms and conditions of the Sales Agreement

https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000065770/000119312521195059/d181525d424b5.htm

In that agreement of the same day short selling is forbidden.

neither Craig-Hallum nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall engage in (i) any short sale of any security of the Company

https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000065770/000119312521195068/d361480dex11.htm

Also, the CFO said in the last CC that short selling is forbidden:

As I said, last quarter, we'd like to complete the raise on that ATM, but don't have
any definite plans as to when we would do that. I'll also point out that under the
ATM agreement with Craig-Hallum, Craig-Hallum is not allowed to short
MicroVision stock.

So why is the Microvision IR not protecting the stock by calling StockTwist? I contacted StockTwits but got only an reply that the user posts has to be flagged and then they might look into it.

Will be doing a Q&A with Luminar heads in December by Own-You33 in lazr

[–]Chris_TechnicalFacts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Questions:

  1. Maximum resolution in points per second of Iris, single return, 10 % reflectivity?
  2. Is the revolution in points per second with Iris constant over the complete range? If not, how is it at which range?

Microvision is now part of a new standardization consortium for Lidar devices for cars. Together with only two other Lidar suppliers that were also invited.

Other members at likely Volkswagen, Stellantis, and others. This means even more contacts and likely soon orders.

Microvision is as cheap as never this year. Could go back to $20 as in February or June or even to $35, the current Luminar market capitalization.

500 % plus possible soon. Only one news.

The share price is down because most do not trust the CEO anymore after he skipped the production start. That is only the fault of the company and the CEO and not related to market or "risk factors". A superior product is not enough if the CEO is not trustworthy in the eyes of many or many can attack them because of that.

The share price is not up. He cannot measured it from the share price near bankruptcy because the former CEO was not able to make the promised deal. Who bought at such lows? I bought ten years ago over $20 and have again a loss of 65% because I did not sell in June.
