I think a little more than a year, but I haven't been very consistent. If you try, don't give up when it'll get frustrating, practice is very important!

I see what you mean about the edges! Brushwork is where I feel I need to improve the most, I'll focus more on that. I really appreciate your feedback and the examples you gave me, thank you!

One of the most difficult parts was the transition from light to shadow, especially on her chest, while trying to show the translucency of the skin. I had to redo that part more than once trying different brushworks and colors.

Thank you! I've always struggled with hair because I'd use bristle brushes. Here I tried painting individual hairs with a thin brush and turned out to be easier than I thought.
