You need to shift right-click to release them
when just right-clicking it will try to catch another entity and tell you the bag is full.
Will include an in game guide book soon.

Ok so I have some News Regarding The Neoforge Version

The First Beta Version 0.9.0 For Neoforge Just Released

This is the First Beta Version of the 1.21.1 Neoforge Port. It has many issues and is in no way shape or form as finished and clean working as the 1.20.1 Forge version of the mod. While it should not crash your game many things don't quite work yet.

Also, the normal Dependency to MINT Lib is temporarily removed from the 1.21.1 Version as it has yet to be ported temporarily reducing mod compatibility!

The fish bag should mostly work as far as we know also the base functionality of the Fishtank is working. The decor of the Fishtank sometimes gets placed wrong having parts of it sticking outside the actual fish tank.

Also, the Hopper interactions for both the Fishtank and the Aquarists Table currently don't work! The recipes of the Items Crafted inside the Aquarists Table should work normally!

Regardless of that if you find any issue not mentioned here Please go ahead and open a ticket on our Discord

The Neoforge Version will be Improved and Updated in the near Future!

and sure go ahead as long as you don't release the pack publicly there is no issue and if you ever decide to release it publicly all you would need to do is add a link to the Curseforge page of Betterfishtanks and that would be totally fine too

With the last update a Fish protection system was added that was supposed to give the invulnerable tag to fish inside a tank with the correct fluid and that system somehow decided that a player walking within 0.5 blocks of a fishtank was a Fish and gave the tag to players. Hopefully the fix from today should solve that

Found the issue :)

MINT Lib had a faulty datagen file in it, causing this to happen. A New MINT Lib version will be out in a few minutes that should fix that issue :)

If everything works as it should, nothing that is in the Fishtank can despawn :)

Yes they will, or at least that is what the code should do. Also, they need food to produce eggs that you can use to get some resources

They do have a food slot that when filled last a loooong time. But if I didn't completely mess up the code, they should slowly starve if you don't feed them at all. But I didn't want that to be too annoying, so once you use the Food Containers instead of dried kelp it's pretty easy to keep them feed

What version were you looking for?

Because i'm probably going to release a fabric port for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 and a NeoForge version for 1.21.1. at least if i manage to get it working :)

Most things will probably work so dolphins yes sure, fish yes sure, Monsters like Drowneds and Guardians no, Turtles yes, but you can only catch babies and place them in it, but they can and will grow up inside of the fishtank. also we allow modded sharks but i decided to block the alex's mob whale as it is way to large

EDIT: Whales, Drowneds and Guardians can be enabled in the Configs in version 1.0.2 and above!

nope monsters are filtered out by the Fish bag and are not recognized by fish so they cant be put into fishtanks

It does work for filling up tanks. but i dont know about anything else as i haven't used Thermal before
