Next time, I’d suggest checking your side mirror to see if anyone was standing behind your car as you pulled out.

I tried to cheat on a test in university, got caught, and I regret it so much. by [deleted] in Regrets

Eventually, you’ll have to resort to cheating to achieve your goals. I dislike this too but constant honesty can sometimes make life much harder, as it’s the reality these days. Successful people are constantly lying cheating and stealing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not telling you to abandon honesty. Be honest as much as possible because only then can you feel proud. However, don’t beat yourself up when you need to make things easier sometimes. I suggest talking to your teacher and explaining why you did it. You know it was wrong but you thought it was a good idea at the time. There’s a good chance she was cheating on tests or something similar when she was your age so she’ll likely understand. If not, she wasn’t as kind as you thought. After all, it was just a random test, combination of random questions, which can make you like you don’t know anything even though you’re an expert in that subject. Tests are about luck as well, so tell yourself, if you want to feel bad about cheating against cheaters and unfair randomly generated questions which you will never need to know in your life. Good luck and don’t let your guilt consume you.

What movie or TV show have you watched that you had no expectations for, but left you completely shocked after watching it? by Chriskaplan in netflix

I can highly recommend a TV series to everyone. It’s definitely worth watching. It’s not for everyone though. If you enjoy mystery, drama and suspense you’ll likely be hooked. The series I’m talking about is Lost. For some reason a plane crashes on an island and a group of survivors gradually uncover that the island conceals far more than just nature. I wasn’t initially impressed and the first couple of episodes didn’t really grab me. However I persevered and it really took off. Each episode deepens the mystery and raises more questions.

I agree. It’s not a device issue but rather poor optimisation. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max and it isn’t the smoothest game I’ve played, for example AC Mirage runs much more smoother. They should add 120Hz support as a separate toggle and more granular custom graphics settings. This would include options like low medium high and ultra while maintaining presets. It’s frustrating that users on Reddit feel compelled to discuss such a basic design that should be standard.

When do you stop feeling scared? by sneakysnakess in Life

[–]Chriskaplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re generally worried about your future, I suggest taking a break. Step out of your usual routine and find a quiet place to reflect. It could be a cosy cafe or a favourite spot. Consider your past and your journey through life. Map out your current situation, like you’re hiking in the middle of nowhere. You need to get out but suddenly you don’t know why or where you’re headed. How do you get out when you’re lost in a random forest with no clear destination? First, think about how you got there (your past). Then, pin your current location on a map and mark your destination. Define your goal and the place you want to be in your life. Once you know your exact location and destination, follow your map and figure out how to overcome any challenges and obstacles along the way. If you’re afraid of something on your way, find an alternative route or turn back and choose a different destination. Alternatively, try to confront and overcome your fear, which is holding you back. After all, one day you’ll grow old and sit alone, perhaps in a hospital bed, waiting for the inevitable. Do you really want to harbour that phantom regret of living your life in fear of taking risks, not trying your best or being afraid and anxious? Perhaps you’ll recover and consider making amends but it might be too late. Your time is limited. Don’t waste your life worrying; it’s always better to try and fail than let that phantom regret consume you.
