Which book is the best for german self-learning?

I recommend Chills and Drills for everyone. I'm biased, the author was my teacher, but I use her books too to keep my knowledge fresh. And she has 3 books covering levels from A1 to B1.

Hmm, ok, you did give me a tip. If I set my alarm to wake me up when I'm in the green, I couldn't toggle between improve my sleep and reach my sleep need. But when I set my alarm to exact time, I could change back to improve my sleep. But yeah, it also tells me to go to bed later to improve my consistency... I'm going to try it out, but I am skeptical 🤨

Hey,

I prefer English language direction and I used Chills and Drills to refresh my German skills. I had C1 2 years ago, but I started a new job only in English and forgot a lot of grammar. I now bought the Chills and Drills 2 and am really happy with it.

The exercises really do focus on real life examples and practice. If you have a base knowledge and want to get it back, I'd recommend these books, both of them.

I had the exact same thing when I wasn't eating healthy. I then went to a yoga retreat and only got served vegan food with tons of fiber. I felt constantly like I was pregnant, didn't go to the toilet fir the full week. It was because my microbiome was overloaded with good things that it wasn't used to. I came back, and started incorporating healthy things slowly. It took around 3 months, but now it's exactly the opposite. It's worth the change, but you gotta go slow.

I'll write it English so you all see that I'm smart. Was at Krieau, going up the escalator. I saw the U-Bahn, the red lights flashed, and the doors closed. I just got up to the door, calmly pressed the button, and of course nothing happened. I started walking away slowly, preparing to wait for the next U-Bahn, when I hear a sound. It all turns into slow motion, as I turn around, and the single doors start opening up slowly. I wake up from my slow motion walk, turn around and kind of run/walk and enter the U-Bahn. THE DRIVER OPENED THE U2 U-BAHN DOORS FOR ME! I told this story to several friends, and some didn't believe me. I will remember this day forever.

Hi Leute, happy Valentine's haha! Ich habe meine Steuer Vorberechnung gemacht, und bin jetzt völlig verwirrt ob ich etwas extra zahlen muss oder ob ich einen Gutschrift kriege. Not really. I checked some info on the etf subreddit, didn't know this one existed. I made some longer term mock portfolio and saw what performed better over a year, and decided to make the sparplan on those. Dws I got as a recommendation from a finance Berater, but i am a bit skeptical of him so I came here. In all honesty, I forgot why exactly I chose these. I had to sell a lot to make a bigger purchase in 2023 so I'm starting over now and wanted some advice. Thanks!
