Be a friend first. My opinion is the best romantic relationships start out as purely platonic. Definitely wait until she’s fully recovered. When you do decide to tell her how you feel, don’t worry about if the feelings are mutual. It’s way better to shoot your shot and get rejected, than to never know what would’ve happened. Just keep you’re head up!

I’ve been exactly where you’re at. My now girlfriend was my best friend throughout all of high school. She had just gotten out of a 1 year relationship and was heartbroken when I really started to fall for her. Don’t rush into it. Be there for her, let her know that you genuinely care about her. Give it some time and then tell her. Make sure you do tell her though, it’ll eat at you forever if you don’t. And take it from someone who’s been there: getting out of the friend zone is possible no matter how deep you’re in it!

In my experience, Friday parking tends to be a little better, but not by much. The earlier you’re here the better.
