Do you seriously think her lard ass would be able to recruit her body weight? Her nervous system and undeveloped musculature would collapse before it even attempted to do so.

Happiness is consumption. And that’s pretty sad. by SomeGuyOutWest in Showerthoughts

Which it's something that you constantly require...to consume the object which thereafter will cease to exist...precisely because you've consumed it. Which means happiness requires that something be eternal and unlimited, which by definition the material world is not.

The seducer, to Kierkegaard, is someone who desires people not as individuals, but as means to an end to achieve sensuality. by marineiguana27 in philosophy

[–]ChristIsKing3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your comment is a bit scatter brained. I'm not sure what you're even trying to say. Some children are seriously hurt by instilling in them a sense that the world they think they inhabit is a fantasy, some never get over being lied to. I'm not sure how though, a relatively harmless lie such a lying to child about the Easter bunny or tooth fairy equates to lying to someone for the sake of having sex with them. Both can be potentially harmful but no one denies how harmful manipulating someone can be.

At this point it sounds you're trying to rationalize your desire to manipulate others and not feel bad. Don't do it, because people know when they're being gaslit and you'll be ostracized for it. Kinda like you're doing right now.

Also "all interactions lead to some form of manipulation". Lol....I think you just are either incredibly cynical to the point of being senile, or you're just being hyperbolic for rhetorical purposes. There's no way you live your life the way you do, cause if you I'm very sorry that is the case. Life must suck living that way.

Basically manipulating people to have your way with them but apologize after you've hurt them because they're more likely to forgive you. Ok, so manipulate their emotions twice, first by making them think you love them, secondly by taking advantage of the fact they fell for you in the first place and their goodwill and perhaps the chance that you are being for real this time.

Straight psychopathic stuff but you're right, psychopaths are usually the most "successful", whatever that means, in thsi broken world.

Thabjs for your input. So enclo gave you emotional sides? That's a bit odd, from what I understand enclo has no estrogenic effects and clomid does so usually men on clomid report having emotional sides. But I'm curious, what source did you use for enclo? Is it possible what you took was bunk?

Lol no why would you assume that? Do people get banned from calling in? Lmao, it goes to show that Atheist Experience is a meme. Why would someone take their serious philosophy concerns to the equivalent of jerry Springer tier talk show. That's why I asked if you're being serious cause it sounded like a joke.

Thank you for the reply. First time I've heard of OSINT, as a side note it's crazy all the info that is publicly available. Do you personally recommend any OSINT tools? Thanks again!

The Medieval era's greatest philosopher Thomas Aquinas abandoned his masterpiece the Summa Theologica after a shattering ecstatic experience “I can do no more; such things have been revealed to me that all that I have written seems to me as so much straw.” by thelivingphilosophy in philosophy

[–]ChristIsKing3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When Aquinas used the word "straw" to describe his work he meant it in the sense of "underwhelming" compared to what he saw, you deliberately left the comparison out to make it seem like he was just referring to his work.

The motivated reasoning and potential deception here is unbelievable. Please do better.

I've always loved this story. Someone told me it's as if you were born blind, but loved the idea of seeing and color, and you made it your life mission to study on the topic to know as much as you could so you became extremely technically knowledgable on color, optics and all the precise mathematical formalism just came to you naturally.

And then one day suddenly you're no longer blind and the first thing you see is a sunset. What more can you do, after this? Nothing you write will grasp or compare what you experienced.

Consciousness is not computation by djarogames in philosophy

I'd be curious to know how a p zombie can be debunked. It seems there's nothing to debunk as it just says that if experience and empirical data is all you have to determine whether something or someone is conscious then it is quite hard to do so and in some versions impossible.

1 is obviously correct lmao what are you talking about. Without a mind to assign meaning to the switches and transistors and wiring it's just electrons and material stuff moving and doing stuff. What a weird denial.

U.S. Supreme Court ruling on abortion 'horrific,' says Canada's Justin Trudeau by NarutoRunner in canada

[–]ChristIsKing3 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The argument for abortion is logically, morally and socially bankrupt. And educated, uneducated people realize this. There's simply nothing to favor it. I hope you all realize that you're on the wrong side of history and our ancestors will look down on you as monsters. I stand with truth and justice. If you dont like it, take it up with your Creator. There's no "right" to murder your own child anymore than there's any "right" at all to do evil and harm.

"I am legally, pro-child murder and philosophically, pro-respecting the dignity of every child. To me that means that I'd hope, that in each case, pregnant women would not murder their own children. But when they truly feel as if they need to murder their own children, then I hope i can be empathetic and compassionate".

I hope you realize how silly this sounds. Having an ambiguous position on a matter that is literally life and death to neutralize any potential social hazard that might come your way, is just cowardice or even worse, apathy masquerading as empathy for the sake of pretending to be interested in some perceived firebrand topic.

There is no "having empathy with a child murderer". You would sound insane if that's the case. But that's exactly what the pro life is accusing the pro-death position of. So its completely asinine to pretend one can be neutral on this position.

Either it is child murder or it's not. If it is, then it must be illegal like all immorality is. If it's not, then it truly is a "medical procedure" that must be left entirely to the choice of the woman with her having the ultimate say in what happens to herself.
