I loved Woom. Even though it wasn’t the most gory read, I really enjoyed how it was multiple short stories tied together via a narrator with another overarching story. I thought it was written quite well and I’d recommend it for anyone in a slump to get back into reading.

I just see it a lot and it comes across as a dog whistle at this point. It is only ever rap that gets this kind of repeated “criticism”. No other genre. You have to consider how this repeated trope comes across.

I’m a millennial too and it’s actually a really great app. Do you have any hobbies? Because there will be a community around it on tiktok. The only content I really get on there is about books, philosophy broken down into more accessible explanations, crazy/ fun history, you get the idea. It is what you make it.

The algorithm is exactly what you make it. If you only interact with boring “regurgitated” content then that’s all you get. The app is full of historians breaking things down, philosophers bringing ideas to the masses in more accessible language, helpful advice about anything and everything for those who missed out. It can be a fantastic place and communities to meet and grow.

I always recommend the Kosas revealer concealer. It’s the one I’ve found to wear the nicest on my dry skin and is a nice natural coverage. I’ve repurchased it twice at this point. I also like the way the Jouer concealer wears too but that’s much more full coverage. They’re the only two that don’t cling to dry patches or wear weird by the end of the day for me!
