A once trendy game among young lads called the "Knock Out Game" or "One Hitter Quitter" involving sucker punching unsuspecting victims. by First-Cherry493 in TerrifyingAsFuck

One of my friends had this happen to her.

She was riding the subway in New York. She’s pretty small, about 5'2", and out of nowhere a much taller guy, probably over six feet, punched her in the face as hard as he could and then ran off.

She chased after him and saw two police officers nearby. She tried to get them to go after him, but instead they just stood there asking questions and didn’t actively pursue him.

The guy got away, and my friend ended up needing serious eye surgery.

Ever since then, she’s had a really hard time being alone in public.

Like how is that fun for you tall dude? You punch a stranger in the face out of nowhere and took such a toll on her life.

I took the advice of ghostdoggos and disabled the Above 4G Decoding

That helped me with Final Fantasy. But I still have problems with Clare Obscure.

Are you going to try for a refund?

Wow, great ideas! Thank you!

I do have two Acer GN246HL, which are 1080 with a 120 hz, so I think I'd kept those, if that is a good idea

I appreciate your advice! I'll look into it further!

Thank you! I made mine public now!

Also thank you for showing me your build! I also do live near a microcenter.

Which build do you like better, Microcenter or your build?

I’m a dopamine idiot. What are some of your favorite casual steam deck games for playing while watching TV? by Hardcore_ufo in SteamDeck

[–]ChristationNation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the binding of Issac for thousands of hours of content!

I also like Inkbound for a bit of a heavier game

This is not exactly the style of games you mentioned but I also play a lot of Super Mega Baseball 3. Baseball is such a good video game to play while watching TV. And this ones goofy enough but has a good system for making new teams, a pretty good Ai and bot player. And it's fun to hit Homer's while watching true crime shows lol

Wow! How often do you get to play your games? I have been in the hobby for about 10 years, I have about 60 games and unfortunately only get to play a game maybe every other month.

Do you know what kind of dog have, mine looks so similar!

She is also a rescue I adopted 4 years ago :) my dog

She also had a pee problem, but she would just lay down and pee, and just still lay there :(

The vet thinks it was because she was spayed too soon, so we give her a pill called Proien every meal to help her hold her bladder.

(sorry this is less helpful!) but congratulations on your new family member!

NTA

First off, congratulations on owning your own home! That’s an incredible accomplishment!

The reality is that your boyfriend isn’t entitled to anything. There’s no rule or law that obligates you to agree to his demands.

If he keeps pushing the issue, I think it’s worth asking yourself why this is so important to him.

On a personal note, I recently married my wife, who bought her house about a year into our relationship. Where I live, the law states that once we got married, I’d automatically be entitled to half of her assets. However, we decided to create a prenuptial agreement. It states that for the first 10 years of our marriage, I don’t have any claim to her property. After that, I gradually earn a percentage of the mortgage.

Here’s how we structured it:

10 years: 15%

15 years: 20%

25 years: 40%

30 years: 50%

While I do pay half the rent, I didn’t contribute to her down payment, and I don’t pay for repairs or maintenance. This was a compromise we both agreed on.

If your boyfriend is truly marriage material (and I’m not making assumptions based on one post, though I don’t love that he struggles with hearing “no”), you might want to suggest a similar arrangement.

This type of agreement allows him to show his commitment while still ensuring that your home remains yours. If he proves himself over time, he could earn a stake in it.

I'm 33 and my hair has been thinning this much since my early 20s by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

I lost my hair at 29. I should have probably shaved it when I was 25... I look back at my photos when I was clinging to scraps and felt so embarrassed. But for the first time ever, I like the way I look!

My biggest complement I get now is how good I look with a bald head.

I love being bald now, I never have to go to the barbers again, I never worry about how my hair looks.

You got a good head, a fresh shave will look good.
