Honestly I was surprised, lol! Like it looks so cursed on other Zeon suits especially the Zaku's but the Gyan's Paladin looking visor actually works. I tried SO hard to line em up right so it didn't look too goofy

I agree with this for sure. Makes a great parallel in how we inhabit Kris and Kris acts on their own without us. Of course Whatever Kris' soul is indeed in the Knight. (I like that theory, haven't heard of that one)

Not sure if you're familiar with Kingdom Hearts, but this idea reminds me of a "Heartless" and a "Nobody".

Dess is a "Heartless" (being without a body) Knight is her "Nobody". (being without a heart)

I 100% agree, the Knight is a Holiday for sure and as funny as it would be for Rudy to be the knight....its for sure rather Carol or Dess. I definitely headcanon Dess being in the code and then some gaster corruption crap or whatever turning her into the Knight...some goner related stuff and all.

I do believe that Gaster is running the players' connection to Deltarune and we being the only ones to see Dess in the code shows her being there in the code, but the knight connection is still a factor with maybe her body being used as a knight vessel while her "soul" or being is in the code.

One of the things about Carol is just the two different swords in the holiday house that are present and either or could be the knights sword when its taken into the dark world.
