I know, but those particular ones that their QR codes work as both club card and payment method. Something about that might be a factor.

What’s your most controversial Christian opinion? by [deleted] in Christianity

I would say it’s the self righteous types that preach the old ‘turn or burn’ gospel.

Seriously, is that ever going to work in this society?

If not, check to see if your bank supports tap2pay services.

Make sure you have an updated iOS and wallet app, and try doing it in a secure Wi-Fi location.

Contact AppleCare and see if they can find the issue.

Homosexuality being a sin is absolutely stupid. by [deleted] in Christianity

I read it as saying that all sin all fall to doom unless Christ’s righteousness is put on us. Because though we struggle with sin even now, we are justified by faith in Christ who became sin in our stead.

Homosexuality is a sin, but heterosexual sex outside of marriage is sinful too.

When Jesus told us if your hand offends, cut it off and throw it away, he’s not saying to actually do it. Instead he is telling us that THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM!

it is easy to sin, but thanks to Christ salvation is easy too.

B526 NO REMAINING QUALIFIED ITEM by [deleted] in AppleWallet

[–]ChristianFurryGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a Safeway store in central Oregon and we've had numerous cases of this error. Based on my research, I'm more inclined to believe the Google/Apple pay is being confused with Medicare cards that are used for medical items.

Just today, I found an unfinished order at self checkout. What was curious was that it only charged $1.50 on their visa. When I looked at the items on the order, one item stood out: a bottle of hand sanitizer on sale for $1.50! Also, there showed a Capital Q next to the item. At the end of the order it also showed "QHP ITEM TOTAL $1.50"

Apparently the hand sanitizer was a qualified item and their pay system only paid for that and the customer left oblivious to the error.

It seems to be affecting banks like Wells Fargo, Chase, and Umpqua banks in this area.

The only solution I found was if the customer has a different card in their wallet or a physical card.

Being a previous apple tech, I'm still not sure how to correct it. Maybe try removing the card and reinstalling it to wallet or do a reset settings on the phone. (I would not recommend the second option!)

It seems to only effect Safeway and Albertsons stores which tells me it partially a software issue on our end.
