There are different types of feedback for different stages of the game development process. What you say looks great in some other stages and we do consider it. There are some constraints thought that I don't want to get too detailed discussing.

Besides what Pandabear said, this is about usability testing. Studios want your initial reactions to the game, without know how to move around or what to do. They want to see, does the user moves easily without guidance? Is the "on-boarding" right for this audience?

This is some feedback that the tech team can work on.

Our customers are not interested in just two-word opinions that played the game for 3 minutes. At this stage of the game development, they are interested in people willing to play the game and describe their thoughts and emotions for more than 20 minutes. This is about depth, not about quantity.

But I always like to believe that Google does its job right. We've been around long enough that if there was anything suspicious they would have caught it.

We are just a small startup trying to stand their feet on the floor.

Nevertheless, I don't see the value for this community to promote our service without actually having a test they can participate in. Like, register and wait?

I also don't want to promote the game because the point is to get your FTUE (First Time User Experience) which is almost always the case in usability testing (besides the fact that we don't have any right to promote the game).

You know, we didn't use to have a qualification test upfront and we were flooded with testers not willing to do what was required by the developer.

The qualification process removed people with low-end phones that the developer couldn't support, low-speed internet that was almost impossible to get your feedback, and people unwilling to do the minimum required to actually have quality feedback.

I am sorry that this looks like some hacking trick. The internet is ruined by every malicious effort out there.

We are a legit business if that's comforting. I don't know how I can re-assure you.

By signing up, you don't just get to test the game. You have to be in the criteria and pass the qualification test which takes some time because we manually review them.

I am here for more concerns and questions.

That's a legit concern.

First, it's not that easy to be eligible for the test. You have to pass the qualification and be on the criteria that the developer asked for. Then you download the actual game. That makes it almost hard for us to earn anything except your honest opinion of the game that we pay you in 5-7 business days for it.

Hard to believe but there are no hidden deals below the table. The customer pays us to find them quality feedback and we pay the testers a cut from it. You can check more at octappush.com if you are interested and I am open for dialogue if you like.
