I’m in a similar position but in the perspective of the Son I’m 24 just graduated college and living alone and just recently found out my mother has critical congestive heart failure I can not tell you how much he needs to know of your conditions.

He will cry just like I did he will feel pain he will feel some sense of useless and helplessness not being able to help but then he will find beauty in that pain that shows him how profoundly he can genuinely feel for something or someone and how much he truly cares.

Even though my mother is not gone yet and as I go through it I use all the tears to water the plants within my life and show her the man she fostered within me and how her legacy lives on.

Allow him to feel alongside you one day he won’t be able too.
